Got my Zong 4G sim today and was surprised to know that to 'enable' 4g it is essential to subscribe to 4G plan otherwise 4G will not work. so that means 100 Rs for sim replacement and then the lowest subscription which is 350= 450 have to be spent to just test the 4g. So the next month you will have to enable 4g plan otherwise say bye bye to 4G.
BTW still not getting 4G signals apart from a single instance few days ago at G-7/4 i got Zong and Warid 4G signals when searched for the networks took the screen shot. so that means warid is testing too in Islamabad :wink2:

Got this speed on Zong 4G near azadi chowk lahore. i took screenshot late and it had gone to H+ by that time.

I think zong is leader in this market. Nice to see warid is entering in this competition, but still long way to go. Prices are also reasonable, awesome packages. I do hope that warid improve services in the future.

I don't get this promotion at all. 3G would be useful during College/ Uni/ Work hours. But Midnight to 10 AM is just lol. Most people would have Wi-Fi at that time.
I have no use for it since I'm at home and can use WiFi at that time. Ufone is good in coverage and guaranteed speed (as well as good rates for calling+SMS) but their internet prices are ridiculously high as compared to other networks; they offer monthly 3 GB for 1500 rupees while Mobilink only charges 300. Their recent acquisition by Etisalat is going to end up making everything expensive eventually.

Mobilink and ufone had stable signals. Zong dropped to 3 or 4 bars and even dropped once to edge in a 5 minute period.
Highest Building Penetration (high speed 3g indoors, max signals): Mobilink, Ufone
Highest Speeds Indoors: Mobilink, Ufone, Zong
Highest Speeds Outdoors: Mobilink, Zong (didnt test 4G yet)
Best Packages: Mobilink, Zong
When 3G started, I had Telenor. It was shitty!!! bad bad coverage in karachi. when it does work its pretty damn fast. but i favour reliability any day because of my work.
So im using Ufone. And i'm pretty happy. decent packages. 1GB per month for Rs 200, but their speeds around 2Mbps
However, I'm strongly considering moving to Mobilink or Zong. Higher speeds, much better packages and the same or higher reliability from Mobilink
Need to test Zong 4g, and 3g more. But mobilink is a clear winner right now

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
