Gainward announced the release of a new Nvidia based graphics card featuring the 8600GT graphics processing unit. Named the Bliss 8600 GT 1024MB TV DD, this card features an impressive one gigabyte of video memory and it is actually a premiere on the video cards market.
Gainward's Bliss 8600 GT 1024MB TV DD is targeted at the middle level graphics cards market that is a much more lucrative business than the slower selling and more expensive high end cards that relatively few computer users are buying. While the extra memory may not help the card's overall performance too much it is definitely a smart marketing move that may boost Gainward's sales on the middle level market.
