So anyone say that coming
we are surely missing Misbah
but what about out bowling department no one was impressive except Wahab
Junaid Rahat and Ajmal all were smashed quite badly

I dont know whether Ajmal would be able to make his comeback or not things are looking quite bleak at the moment

Expected a more grave response frm pk fans.evaluating this series, plus - sami, rizwan, saad & azhar.Minus - No finisher & PAK IS NO MORE A FEARSOME BOWLING SIDE.Too many short balls, all bowlers were torn apart, they looked rusty. It is hard to digest but its GAME OVER for Hafiz & Gul.The team balance is lost due 2 few burdens like this.Need a coach who is more level headed & open minded NOT A DICTATOR WHO CLINGS ON TO HIS EGO.Waqar will never be remembered as a coach.Poor planning from the board has led to the downfall of the team. There shud be a reserve of players who can substitute the seniors making their extis.Call on Mir Hamza,Sadaf Hussain, Imad Wasim & RAzzaq.Fawad shud bat @ 4.Azhar hit back @ critics. needs to prove himself as a capt. The youth r now able to post a respectable total which our senior team cudnt. In the same manner bring in some youth in the bowling dept & we will see change.give the time & exposure, consistency & class dont come overnite,it takes time.

With no country touring pakistan and no big exposure to domestic cricketers , it is clearly showing up . Pakistan is now being reduced to just another associate member's quality. It is tough if the domestic cricketers don't really get that quality opposition players to play with. Azhar though can be a good batsman, can never be a great captain like Imran or Wasim. The problem is Waquar is just looking for a YES man to implement his ideas and I believe a cricket match's central decision making person must be a coach. Whenever a chairman, director or a coach has that influence on the team, the team could only run backwards. We saw what happened with Greg Chappell with India and Mic Arthur with Australia and Peter Moores with England. It is simple plain stupidity to have serious faced coached like head masters. We need someone like Lehman who with his smiling face dramatically turned things around for Australia to become the World Champions.

Cant blame Azhar much. Tough outing as captain. Coming after 2 yrs & question mark on his place. Most guys were new to him, Not an experienced domestic captain. Had bowling with 1 bowler coming after 5 months gap, other coming after 8 months with new action & another after 4 months. No allrounder. only 4 players played from WC. Given a team of comebacks/new players. Playing against an inform team which is playing good & full of confidence . Really hard to blame Azhar. His batting was positive@ good SR. So thats an improvement. Haris/Rizwan/Saad/Sami were positives.
That where role of coach comes in. He isnt doing any good. Not willing to learn/change. Keeping players out of 11, attitude issues, reacting late, reluctant to change, arrogance in selection, likes/dislikes. Took long to understand in Wc & again now. No idea about team combination. Too much experiments. I think time to let Waqar go as well otherwise no point in changing players as he is making decisions.

Epic facepalm at the start was EPIC! This was the mother of all rants by the Doc. Legendary stuff! :hah:

Sad times for Pak Cricket enthusiasts but people need to calm down a bit. I'm witnessing a lot of knee-jerk reactions. First things first, Bangladesh have been a formidable opponent at home. Defeating them with a new-look team (not particularly inexperienced) would've been a feat, a big challenge nevertheless. I don't think our Cricket board even remotely understood the potential magnitude of this series. Lumping experience together doesn't necessarily produce a favourable result.

Azhar Ali is still finding his footing. There's little wrong with his own performance with the bat but inexperience and a slight hesitation, whilst captaining one's seniors, shows. If it were up to me, I would drop Ajmal, Hafeez and Zulfiqar Babar straight away and give Azhar a young side to work with. I'm sure he will be more comfortable around players his junior.

I'm hopeful of a better show in the upcoming Tests. Really liked Saqlain's analysis at the very end. PCB ought to stage more overseas tours for the A and U19 teams and prepare players for national team duties. The National Team is NOT a lab rat.

i am more disappointed with bowling we know we have batting problems since ages but now we have started to develop problems with bowling there is no supporting hand
we are usually dependent on one bowler to do the job
we used to have good matches when we used to score 250 runs as it was considered as defendable total considering our bowling attack
we have all the big names with us still no performance even introducing young talent in bowling isn't much promising
there used to be time when i used to see a young bowler comes in the side and used to take Good wickets in his Debut match
why youngster is too prone with injuries where as OLDIES have much better fitness level See AJMAL Younis Khan Afridi Misbah i rarely hear getting dropped because of injury or unfit
youngster should be much more resistant to injuries at this age what we are lacking proper training or what ?
now every new player comes on the side happens to be worse fielder which totally amazes me in modern cricket we should have better fielders then earlier era as i am sure facilities must be better than OLD TIMES whats the point of having fielding coach when there is not a single improvement rarely get see proper SLIDE , cannot hold dolly catches forget diving and stopping singles
the sad part is things getting worse then improvement

On current form, a spin-bowling attack comprising Ajmal, Hafeez, Babar and Nasim is nothing to write home about. I'll give Junaid the benefit of the doubt but there should be no excuses for Wahab and Gul. They go missing more often than not. Regardless, when push comes to shove quite often our bowling does step up. Batting is the bigger culprit. No excuse is admissible when a team goes from 200/3 to 250 a.o.

Considering that our seniors are fitter and more athletic in the field just goes to show the incompetence and lethargic attitude of our domestic and U-19 structure. It is heartening to see Waqar push players through a grinder. The national team is no place for whiners likes Shehzad and Umar Akmal. In an ideal set up, fitness should be the numero uno criteria for selection.

I would award that to Hafeez. But yeah Fawad has been dreadful over the past two series. I wonder what went wrong all of a sudden?
He had no idea against the Aussie attack and against Bengalis he couldn't play his usual run a ball innings as situation was different. He has the worst batting stance and just can't hit fours at will. More suitable for women cricket team.
Hafeez is more of an all-rounder and ban just got raised. Also his bowling action doesn't look as effective as in the case of Ajmal.

I think new guys need sometime, hafeez, fawad, azhar, ajmal need sometime to resettle. And newcomers definitely need some push.
We need a decent hitting allrounder at lower middle order.

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!
