Saw my first movie at cinestar today, mixed feelings. I get into my car a full hour before showtime, get to kalma chowk and massive traffic block. I'd anticipated this thus the leaving early but then As I neared link road another traffic jam, this time because of a huge accident. I finally reach my destination an hour late, yeah it took me two hours just to get there. I don't have to worry about these things in dha dammit.
Now I was supposed to see Thor but ended up watching priest in 3D instead. I was very impressed, it's a better cinema in every regard ( except for mahaul ) Priest looked great in 3D and I'm definitely going tomorrow for Thor. I don't care if I have to walk there

Why u watched it in 2d it already has such a bad score , and u even less ur fun by watching it in 2d . X men is coming on 10th june

Last time in atrium when i was watching Thor some annoying Sindhi guys (no offense to sindhi's) But one guy was constantly talking in sindhi and telling the movie to other guy . I changed my seat

I prefer a silent crowd too but movies like Fast 5 I'd prefer to watch with a noisy crowd, makes it that much more fun. It is not like they air any art movies here anyways so you could say I'll always prefer a livelier crowd

AND AFTER that fast 5 was the one ppl were going insane at tho this craziness was legit the twilight one was like really embarrassing....

So I watched my first 3D movie at Cinestar, and it was fantastic. Apart from the eye strain in the day-break, I was lovin it! The 3D effects were just epic. Worth the wait I guess. Can't wait for Transformers now.

the crowd is okay here too sometimes... but mostly on premiere days .... and that too in the family section and not for loners... priest has an r5 out so no watching it in cinema... and do not watch thor in 3d... just because there is no proper use of 3d what so ever... and traffic is blocked everywhere in lahore...everywhere there are roads being constructed... it is a huge hassle for atleast 6 more months...

I couldn't watch Thor, they took it off the next day We get to to the cinema and we're thinking "woah pretty big crowd for Thor", turns out they'd replaced Thor with some Indian movie called ready! I told the guy at the counter that they'd made a huge mistake taking Thor down so soon. He didn't say anything, just laughed. Must have been thinking "screw you, I ain't made no damn mistake, look at the people". My friends told me it was the first time they'd seen the place so packed

well it is packed only on premiere days as far as i have seen... watched fast 5 on the first day and it was extremely packed.... sad that you cannot see the awesome chris hemsworth... but blueray is the only solution now... i think the ticket sales went way down for thor so that is why they must have taken it off...

Thats the problem when u have one screen.

at least atrium has 3 screens . 2 for 2d one for 3d , Thor does have 3d moments i mean the whole asgard in closeup looks good which u cant hav in 2d

When will be IMAX coming in Pakistan, and what i have noticed that the 3-D print is not that print which is shown in other countries..in simple words HD or IMAX version. I even had an argument on this topic with my brother but he disagreed with me that 3-D ka yea he print hota hai HD mai impossible hai. But i sticked to what i said. Well guyz wats your thinking abt this?

dha will turn 3d on eid.... and they are getting the latest projector which will be better than any other cinema in pakistan i.e atrium or cinestar.... and with their smaller screen the picture will be a lot sharper.... and the crowd full of chicks will make it the best place to be...

in other news... dha cinema will turn 3d as well on this coming eid... although i would prefer cinestar due to a lot bigger screen...

yeah other cinemas have 2k tech while dha cinema has ordered 4k tech d-projectors meaning better and deeper 3d

well i haven't seen print in other countries but i feel that 1080p Bluray rip on my lcd monitor looks better then the print we watch in cinemas.
