Check the PW thread.
There are all sorts of rumors, the price may not be this high. Possibly lower by about 50-100k. Not much, but still.

Either way, anything above 2.6 million is unreasonable for a recycled tin can with wheels on it.

Obviously they're local variants.
Red one is the 1.5 Turbo, with the touchscreen navigation.

The white one with the CD player is the 1.8 model.

Don't believe anything yet. Atlas hasn't confirmed prices yet.
There are all sorts of rumors right now.

However, if said prices are true, Atlas will have a tough time selling this, just as they were having with the 9th Gen recently.

Such ugly car.......disappointed af. Plastic interior, ugly exterior. Even a 2004 mark 2 @13 lacs wins over it all day every day. Our 1999 JDM rolla has far far better interior then this thing.

Look what they did to its interior, shame. Was planning to get this before it launched in Pakistan. Honda Atlas is failing again. 2,800,000 PKR is ridiculous for this junk. :yuk:

1.5L Turbo is equal to a 2.4L engine naturally aspirated (but with economy of 1.5L). TOYOTA charges 24 Lacs for 1.8L CVT, according to toyota pricing, the 1.5L Turbo CVT (2.4L equivalent) should be 32 Lacs!

Even with all the stripped down features, it is still a reasonable deal (after accounting for the Pakistani overpricing which happens everywhere) even at the rumored price of 28 Lacs which is a few lacs more than khotta corolla grande which is a 1.8L engine at 24 Lacs. Not that I have money to even buy the headlights :yay: , but any car enthusiast would tell you there is NO comparison between pakistani corolla high end and the Touring.

Look up tests and reviews of the comparisons between the 2016 Civic Touring and Toyota. This is probably the first non-crap car to come to Pakistani markets locally. It offers everything the Grande offers + much much more (using simple ratio you can find out why its better value than the grande). Its about time we had a car that will make the "corolla" mentality eat literal dust. Toyota has been selling sub-par junk to the pakistani market all these years. And its about time we see a night and day difference between offerings from the both camps - which neither camp can deny.

If Honda want to gain some market share, they have to price it well because they are dying a slow death which is evident from their sale figures of last year, Toyota Indus sold 80K+ units whereas Honda Atlas only managed to sell 23K units (city+civic).

Honda's sales have grown actually since the past year and are expected to grow even more this year. They are operating at 50% capacity so they can ramp production without incurring any CAPEX. The Toyota unit count you are quoting actually includes governmental and other contracts which Honda doesnt have - so slightly irrelevant to compare that here. Indus motors is operating at 110% capacity so they cant expand anytime soon without significant CAPEX. In conclusion, Toyota's market share will stay exactly the same or decreae.

Time will tell but with on-road prices touching 3mil. I don't think that will happen.

It's out here in down under with four different offerings and what not. Looks 'decent' on the roads. However, the sporty RS model looks promising.

did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!
