Hey guys, i am planning to get myself a Windows based phone. Need your help in deciding which one to buy.

I can do max between 25k's to 30k's.

My current preference is from HTC HD 7 or Focus or the Omnia 7?

Please suggest, any of the above and why, and any other WP7 phone which you think is better....

A Used Omnia 7 will cost you on more than 20k. Get that instead of wasting shit loads of money on a brand new device. WP7 isn't worth that kind of money.

No phone other than Omnia 7 because SuperAMOLED = X-Factor

For the longer run (cant agree to all of you, my opinion) will the 8 GB survive for all time ?

Ominia 7 is giving the maximum to 8GB ( later on the 16 GB might come in the scene ) And considering into the account of the WP7 OS and its application you will spared out with 6GB of space. That would not be good for a user like me. I would like to have at least 16 GB.

Personally Omnia 7 is really good as a mobile MP3 player and if only permitted ( intentionally ) to use it to a music player. I would switch over to HD7 over the Omnia 7 .

Nice features over the HD7 which I liked was that the upgrade to 32GB with a higher class of microSD which could improve the good speed.

Around 20% larger screen is larger of the HD7, more internal storage,.

The Omnia 7 has a OLED screen, which are generally brighter and more vivid which is the new state of the technology.

HD7 has one of the worst battery times amongst all phones out there. You can literally empty it within 6-7 hours.

Somethings are worst even on the highest form of the applications. I had the phone by me for 2 weeks, on full load the battery time took to about 18 Hours and that is a guarantee.

This basically, if you can suffice with the 8GB storage then Omnia 7 is a no brainer.

If you're planning on keeping the phone for a while then I suggest you wait for a price drop on the HTC Radar. It's got a better CPU+GPU and since its HTC you can expect timely updates. Other than that Omnia 7 is your best bet.

Checked out Radar...kinda liked it....
But my concern was only 8GB of onboard memory.

If i get the Focus, i can at least put a memory card in and get more memory. I keep a huge list of songs on my phone...:p

Further, i dont think the 16GB version of Omnia is available anywhere in the market that may fall within my range.

Well, lets c...

I just sold my 16GB version Omnia 7. It's available.

As for Focus, its one of the most problematic WP phones out there. It has 2 versions, 1.3 and 1.4. The 1.3 isnt upgradable to Mango yet and there is just no way to know what version you might get.
