Suggestions for upgrades

AOA fellow pg members so i need some very serious advice i recently from the grace of Allah bought 980ti so now i need advice should i go with a 2k monitor or 4k monitor and my budget is max 50 to 60k.

you can't game at 4k with all the bells and whistles on a single 980ti. although many games like sims, civ, dota, lol etc will work fine imo. But ROTB, and other recent games will probably run at lower settings. I personally think that you should get a 1440p and game on that, your GPU is a beast on that resolution.

Here is a benchmark of Titan X (it performs very similar to 980ti in all games) on 4k in multiple modern games (the witcher 3, the division, ROTR etc.), https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuViSYChy7Q. On max settings, Titan X manages 30-40fps, the results of 980ti would be similar. So at 4k to get 60fps you will have to drop down to med-high settings. For ultra 60fps you should go with 2k res.

You definitely are underestimating 980Ti brother. It maxes out all recent games at 4k and gives around 30-40fps.

I understand but not at 60fps, which I think is the new benchmark these days.

I would rather have a 2k with silkhy smooth fps at or above 60fps locked, rather than 4k with fps hanging between 20-50fps at mediocre settings.

Yep i have same thoughts so gonna go with 2k its better

And as far 30 to 40 fps go on ultra settings it wont make such a huge difference it is ultra thats the main point
