1) Shoutbox only looks good here on forum, on main-page it will look useless!

2) And who is going to maintain it? there are lots of cities in pakistan, and the price are different in very city! I only have the access to karachi market, who will going to update the information for the rest of the cities? but it's a nice suggestion..let me see how much of this Idea can be integrated into the exiting database..

@Chando: That's what I have already done i-e mini video screen on the left featuring games trailers interviews etc from youtube

2- There should be a price-check/where-to-buy section... looking at how unstable and unreliable our gaming market is, here in pakistan. It should be updated by reliable members with the latest prices for all the accessories/consoles ...ratings on where to buy in each city ... and stuff ..would help new comers and even the current members alot.

i second that ! karachi price + 2k maximum = price for any other city.

@Devil: it's not only a page yaar...it will take some time as there are lost of files, and a big mySQL Database with lots of tables and fields...and the worst thing is that I am the one man development team..i-e I am doing both the coding and designing

Khair..majority of things are already completed...let me code that price check option tonight!

Ok here is the front-page preview...(empty though)

right now I am working one:

- Shops Database: Where you can find the complete info about a specific shop who is selling video games, consoles etc..you can search for a specific shop in any city of pakistan.. visitors can rate a specific shop, post a review about a shop and more..(off-course I will need peoples who can fill up the database with the shops info)

- Price Check: on selecting a a city, it will display the price of: video games CD/DVDs..


Let me do a recape of the features which will going to have:

- Reviews (NO auto-overall rating calulation..as requested)

- Previews

- Articles (can be anything like feature, interview etc)

- Games Database (all news related to a specific game automatically get linked on the game profile page.. (like on gamespot) and it will also include the Images/screenshot for a game..

- Wishlist/Collection: members can create their wishlist/collection from the games available in PG database.

- Publishers DB: list the publisher info etc..and what they have release/develop (which are in PG database)

- Cheats...do I need to saything more?

- Featured news stories on the main page...

- Top Games (based on the rating and scored given by a reviewer/PG Staff and visitors)

- Upcoming Games

hmm...now what I am missing...I think I have added everything which can be found on any big game websites...except the "DOWNLOADS" (future item)


so let me know what I am missing? :\ damn I am working since last 5hrs...

Yes..once it comes online and gets fill up..then I will add/alter the features etc...there are lots of small things remaining...things will get improved with time right now in my personal web development experience the beta version of PG is far better then the sites like GAF and others such medium level sites in features and in structure...

Once I get my LCD..I will boost my speed even more..cause thisbig ass CRT monitor hurting my eyes badly :\
