I guess it would be great if we can compare our pings and post them here . Lots of essential information for all the readers out there .

Do post your Tracert for eu.battle.net and europe.battle.net . Just go to CMD and enter Tracert and address. Moreover apart from tracert do directly ping them and let us know what you get.

Secondly if you can post your ping test here .

Would love to. Would do it when i get back to home from work.

1st= Go HERE and download Origin and install
2nd= Go HERE and just check what pings you are getting.

Logged into WOW after 5 -7 years. what a feeling but I am not playing it again

I was getting around 150-170 ms and I guess in raid it will go as high as 220ms probably which is great plus if you use some software it can go more down as well.

Then the software of Origin wont Play rather it wanted to update on a speed of 40k per second . It took around 2 hours to update that on that speed and I did that . Still Origin wont play and was not showing any pings. Then it wanted me to make a EU account. Where I just Uninstalled Origin.

That clearly shows that your ping to blizzard Eu.battle.net is 160 (158). Not bad . You are on GPON transworld right. How much do they charge you for a 20mb connection ?

I on the other hand cant ping eu.battle.net Thanks to Cyber net :-( . Secondly tracert goes to 225ms. Which is 75 ms approx. more then Transworld. The only good thing I have is that 10mb advantage since I get 30mb connection but I would have preferred lower pings.

At the moment I am not playing any online games so it doesn't matter but in the future If I get a game I would need lower pings. Maybe I can just use software like WTFast etc to lower that ping.

I pay 4000 per month (4032 to be exact). The only online game i play is League of Legends (and i play it alot). I get approx 140 ping there which is amazing.

Also my connection is 1:1 my upload speed is also 20 mbps which has helped me increase my ratio of private trackers a lot

don't get me started on bf4 ... their launch system has to be the most pathetic i have ever come across, most of the times it bloody refuses to run in the browser ... such was my story that i gave up on the game without even playing 1-2 hours mp :/

hmm. I just got a call from StromFiber on my queries. They say that forget the ping and tell us the actual game latency you get since they claim that there gaming signals are routed in a better way . I will give them the benefit of doubt and will try to download league of legends so we can compare that ping Directly / Practically.

There are lots of options to download LOLegends. which server did you download. EU east ?

Just finished Trying League of Legends. I am getting a ping of 155 MS constant and I will try it using some software too but means that in game there is hardly any difference b.w storm or transoworld.

155 seems good enough. I play on EU west . Servers of EU east are at the same location so the ping should be the same on both servers.

Shinobi, thanks for making this thread. These threads and discussions help the community a lot. Thanks again from all of us.

I too reside in Clifton, Block 7 and have requested a new connection from StormFiber (Same package as yours). No doubt their customer service has been excellent so far. I hope their internet services also come off as impressive as their customer service. They told me I should be getting the connection installed in a week or two. Will definitely leave feedback from my side as well for the benefit of the pakgamers community.

Anyways, in anticipation of the new connection, I would like to kindly request if you could inform us of the pings on Counter Strike Global Offensive servers. Would like to know before I drop a whole of cash on the installation.

You can get this tool ([Official] MM Server Picker 4.2 - Hit Update IPs! (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive > Tools > Other/Misc) - GAMEBANANA) so you don't have to download the game and install it etc...and it will ping all CS Servers to see which regions give best pings. Please do share a screenshot of the pings once you get em. I understand you are being bombarded with requests but do let us know whenever you get a chance. Shouldn't take more than literally 2 minutes. Would really appreciate it.

Note: They say pings are no good take the actual game latency and the Actual game latency in League of Legends is 153 which is what Transworld is giving.

I will give you actual pings in game and you can decide by that how good the connection is. Pinging Cs wont help a lot.

Just played League of Legends on EU west and it giving me 144 MS lower then Eu East Nordick.

Now trying WTFast but its not giving any diffrence I wonder why ?
