I will give you actual pings in game and you can decide by that how good the connection is. Pinging Cs wont help a lot.

Thanks a lot. These are pretty good pings compared to PTCL. I get 50-80ms higher than that n PTCL over here in Lahore.

this ping to eu and singapore is the best u can get in pakistan trust me on this one, u cant get any lower than this in pakistan unless pakistan to utha kay europe kay qareeb lay jao be happy with what u got bro

Did extensive testing on Heroes of the Strom . Constant 140-155 Ms. I subscribed to WTfast but it wont do anything.

Yeah I am also facing that imgur images not showing up in pakgamers. On chrome if you open the thread in incognito mode it loads and displays imgur linked images correctly but not on regular non-incognito mode.

don't get me started on bf4 ... their launch system has to be the most pathetic i have ever come across, most of the times it bloody refuses to run in the browser ... such was my story that i gave up on the game without even playing 1-2 hours mp :/

you know what, its actually way better now.
and its simple. first u need origin and game installed.
then login, better check remember password box, go to battlelog and just join a server.

now here is the tricky part, weirdly not may people know even after so much time. once you join a server, and you are playing if you want to just quit the game, DONT press the X button (close button)in battlelog where it shows you are connected. Simply while in the game, press Alt+F4. thats it. Because once you see waiting for game to exit, and you try to join any other server right there and then, it WILL NOT JOIN! its a HUGE bug and they are not fixing it for the 3 years now. and im sure they will not fix it now that they stopped support for game updates.

@chipmunk2020, Sorry mate BF4 is one big hassle. I did download the Origin software and went to the other link but no pings there. Then the software of Origin wont Play rather it wanted to update on a speed of 40k per second . It took around 2 hours to update that on that speed and I did that . Still Origin wont play and was not showing any pings. Then it wanted me to make a EU account. Where I just Uninstalled Origin.

ya sorry for all the issue. but i forgot you can ping it. but im pretty sure that pings for your LOL to European servers would be about same as Bf4 servers in EU.

after I signed up I guess it took them a week or maybe less to collect the payment and since there was some work delay in Block 7 so it took them a month to deploy the connection and activate it. No need to call them I guess.

no these softwares are pretty shit when it comes to ping reduction especially when physical distance to the servers is so huge. the ping that you are getting, i.e, 150-160ms in LOL to european servers is practically the best ping you can get.


the issues comes with physical distance to the server. again, the MOST IMPORTANT thing is you dont get Packet Loss with your connection. i say even 200ms ping is not THAT big of an issue, PROVIDED you are not getting any or minimum packet loss. its the packet loss that deteriorates the multiplayer experience MORE than high ping.


i dont know about LOL packet loss check, but in BF4 there is this in build network graph which shows everything related to player's connection. im attaching a screen shot below you can see it shows everything.

so, all in all, IF you are getting 150-160ms ping or even to 175ms to Eurpean servers, its just great, at least from Pakistan. and above that, if your packet loss is minimum, that means with that ping and no (or least packet loss) your connection is perfect.

I doubt there are any packet losses.

But there is one thing I am not sure since I didn't check Heroes of the strom ping on my CIR transworld connection which was just 1.5 mb but I remember my tracert in CMD windows to eu.battle.net was 120 ms. so maybe the ping can be improved a bit more like 40ms which can matter.

I do have created a ticket to WTfast lets see if they can improve it. If they can then I will definitely recommend them to all you guys. Just 500rupees per month is not that much if you are looking for better results but lets see if it can deliver or not.

i honestly dont think that justifies anything. i mean paying for reducing ~40ms ( that also you are not sure yet, right?) its the job our ISPs be it storm, peetcl or anyother.

i know some of these softwares work, but that was way way back, 4 to 5 years ago, but now, after so much time, im not sure if they work. i myself used TCP Optimizer to reduce my bf3 ping by about 30ish-ms

but still, i will be very interested in knowing if that works for you.

Hi,

My StormFiber Connection has been installed and will become Active Tomorrow anytime. I opted for the highest speed which is 15-30Mb (Day and Night cycle 12 hourly).

I shifted from Transworld Fiber optic so I have a great benchmark for Stormfiber and the first thing I want to do is to Ping eu.battle.net which is the StarCraft II or blizzard server to find out the efficiency of my connection. The next thing would be speedtest , ping test etc.

I think it would be Great.There modem is really cool with a router and everything in a single box.

I can help you with any queries you have. Do post them and I will try to answer them .

hey i got my 20 mb stormfiber connection yesterday....im having trouble using psn chat party...it keeps saying i cant use voice chat and that this may be due to nat-limitations....have you experienced a similar problem?do you know what i can do to fix it?

im trying to port forward the router right now....can anyone help me with that...im using portforard.com as a guide but there are something on the site that i cant understand

With the default settings of StromFiber I didn't had any problems with PSN etc. I think I used party chat with ps4 and its worked. You have PS4 right not PS3 ?

In your PS4 network settings it should show you NAT 2 as it does it here on mine. I have not changed anything , everything is working fine by default.
