Factor 5... Cross Application Asset Creation for LAIR: From Characters to Clouds. Presented by Mark Teare
Sony... March 7th, 10:30 - 3:30: Sony will present hands on information about products that drive game development process. Room 3018. (Obviously looking at PS3 dev tools)
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe: Audio Production: Ideas for the Next Generation... What's Next?
Sony Computer Entertainment America: Audio Production: Ideas for the Next Generation... What's Next?
Also noticed Sony was providing some tutorials on "Core Techniques and Alogorithms in Shader Programming", and "Physics for Games Programmers".
Also of note, Havok will have a good presence there. Sony will have an area with Demo PS3 units (West Hall, Second Floor) where game developer wannabe's can talk with Sony regarding employment. Also noticed Naughty Dog will provide "Interactive Storytelling Boot Camp." Both Nintendo and MS will be present as well. (No Kidding )
Sorry again if this has been covered or is boring.
Hopefully Havok will be able to show off what V4.5 can do with the PS3, and Sony can shed some light for developers on how to better utilize (or start using) SPUs.
