Yeah, the Demon's Souls remake seems very likely at this point. Also, the rumored Silent Hill reboot, possibly in collaboration with Kojima. I'm also expecting Guerrilla Games to show something. Perhaps Horizon 2, or the rumored Killzone multiplayer game.

Where "now" = 4 years after the platform was launched and people are expecting the successor's announcement?

There is a rumored Killzone MP game ? Wow just wow, this is the first time I came across this and man i would be the most happiest person if there is a KZ MP game at launch. I have some very fond memories of Kz 3 MP on the PS3, even played alot of Shadow fall MP on the ps4 too. There is something very very unique about Killzone's MP, at least for me.

Horizon 2 on the other hand, just seems to be more and more likely at this point. I hope they dont go down that rumored Co-op road. I absolutely fell in love with the first game which for me is in the top 5 games on the ps4.

Given this total lack of support, it leads some developers to question whether they should bother with ports to PS5 and PS4 in the future. Sony "were easily the worst performing in terms of sales and by far the most demanding and hardest to work with in terms of getting on to the platform. As an indie developer, you have limited resources. So you have to ask yourself if it's worth the time and energy committing to a port when they aren't going to promote you and sales are going to be significantly lower than all other competing platforms."

The blame for everything wrong with PlayStation (including the company's newfound love for PC) falls on only one man i.e. Jim Ryan. Shu is pretty much the last good person left in the PlayStation management team.

lmao @ incompetent. He was the head of WWS, and it did really well under his leadership. The real incompetence here comes from the individual who demoted him to head of indies. Besides, clearly the budget Jim allocates towards indie support is minuscule.

Most first party games will 100% work. The question is if they will have further enhancements over the PS4 Pro versions.

EG TLoU 2: Base PS4 1080p/30. PS4 Pro 1440/30.

PS5: 4K/30 ? 4k/60 ? who knows. But it will be interesting to see.

They will do a u-turn, follow MS's strategy and support backwards compatibility on PS5 in some form.

Jimbo was too ignorant to realize this back in the day.
