Metal Gera movie...guys do u think it gona be a block buster?In my observation most of movies inspired by the popular games failed to do "good business"

Probably not the metal gear story/writing will be panned by critics, as a result only the mgs fans will end up watching it.

to a certain extent yes, unless you put in a huge budget/marketing and hire good people to do the job.

i love the game emmensly.. but i just have a feeling the movie will ruin the good name of snake..

so far so good here, movie being done by sony's columbia studio, ghost rider's producer is on board, just waiting for the director.

Actually so far not so good the producer has worked on such masterpieces as Zathura and the very soon to be released craptastic ghost rider, the second exec producer's last work was grudge 2. Still a good director with a good budget can save the project just don't let kojima anywhere near the storyboard.

i think instead of making a Film if they go to make an animated movie of the game like Final Fantasy Spirits Within or Final Fantasy The Advvent Children then i hope they will conwinse the puplic to come and watch the movie and in my observation animated movies r doing more business than the acutall ones.
