^ in some cases, it isn't the hardware that matters, it's the UI that matters. In which Nokia and iPhone takes the lead. And that's what beats the other smartphones easily.

my dear, neither x3 nor iphone or nokia can beat the upcoming lot of android phones u will come to know soon , for your information i have already posted regarding the HTC magic requested to check it on web , and u will forget iphone ...for sure....... HTC magic is pure touch screen , with black berry type scroll ball in it , along with replaceable battery ( which i phone dont have ) , mem card slot , plus its based on google open source plat form android , that means any one can make its own application and can use it freely on the phone...... GOOGLE ROCKS ....!!

hahaha  dude did you read my post carefully... I was talking about the UI... Unique and user friendly interface makes them f**kin AWESOME.....

About the stuff you talking:
1. Scroll Ball: don't care, having a touch screen and using a scroll ball too, sucks big time. iPhone/Nokia doesn't need a scroll ball... they support multiouch
2. Replaceable Battery: iPhone users don't need to get their batteries replaceable, because they work as the way they were in the start, btw nokia has replaceable
3. Memory Card Slot: Who cares when they give away memory upto 32 GB
4. I don't need my own application, when I can get HELL lots of apps to fullfil all my god damn requirements.

Edit: Btw did you ever bothered checking out the UI of HTC Magic and HTC Hero... totally sucks, and that's where Nokia/iPhone kicks a**es. :p

Android Mobile is still in the development stages, whereas Symbian and AppleOSx have been on the market for quite some time!
Google has launched a development program where people from all over the world make groups and work on application. Just as there isnt many apps for the 5800 and i8910, Android has little user capabilities aswell.

For example, Wm2000 came, it SUCKED, then came Wm 2002, then 2003 then 5 and then 6. They improved overtime, and the latest 7 is the best looking UI I have ever seen!

Therefore some time is needed for android to make a stable base, BTW, its UI rocks..

I'm a symbian user for 10yrs and my 1st phone was 7650 which was first symbian phone ever then i bought several symbian phones like 6600, 7610, n70, n73, n95, n95 8gb, iphone, iPhone 3G and currently i have 5800xm, n97 32gb, i8910, iPhone 3GS so i'm quite symbian, iPhone fan and nothing beats nokia and apple but man this Phone is totally different Open platform OS means unlimited apps and games also many more companies are moving to Android OS bcz it has strength that no other plateform has BTW who needs 720p video on tiny 3.5 inch screens it will be like playing PS3 1080p blueray on crapy sdtv.

Bro, HD video on a phone rocks.
Who is asking you to watch it on a tiny screen? Watch it on TV or on a large LCD monitor..! Thats why the TV out feature is on the mobiles :)

That's a lame answer mate, why would one buy such a phone if he had to watch it via TV out... huh <_<

Android might be powerful OS, but it simply can't replace Nokia and iPhone's OSes. End of discussion :)p)

Man i'm talking about portability & mobility u can't always carry 40 inch HDTV with u. Bro my point is that watching HD video on mobile is same as watching SD (VGA).
Its does'nt mean i didn't like 720p video. The fact is HD video always amuses me that why i bought my 1st ever HD video recording capable Samsung i8910 aka Omnia HD which is based on os 9.4 s60v5 symbian edition with touch UI.
