The number is being used by IB or more probably by ISI. When someone calls from eva phone a weird long number appears.
I used to do this prolly 3 years back with friends, call random people and have some fun. Almost every ISI employee has this thing.
Its actually a basic PTCL or NTC number, and by using some ways they hide the caller id.

thats right other then that if you call from skype its also shows at no number / private number.

Just saw this thread. I also got random calls from a number like 009664412145 or 0096651210 etc. First i ignored but after 5-6 long miscalls i picked up, said hello and there was nothing, just a type of noise shoooooooooooooooon type like when you are travelling on a bike or in a car.

A couple of my friends have recieved calls like this, one of them actually spoke to the guy, he was inviting him to join ISI, and provided he had a dual nationality i suppose it was legitimate. They asked him to come to a specific place at a specific time, which he of course refused, after which they then went on to ask about his car, registration plate, address ( he recently bought a new honda city) and his routine (gym wagaira ja rahy ho, sett chal rha hai sabb kuch etc etc)
as for the other friend, his brother or something left the country to study abroad while working for Nespak or some other government agency, without taking proper leave and clearance. He claims he had people following him on the bus frm lahore to isb, and other cases of his current number being suddenly blocked and being issued somewhere esle, like kissi ne ussi k naam pe ussi k number ki simm kahin aur niklwa li
Nothing to worry about, as long as you are clear and not involved in 2 number kaam as they say.

Right decision. Never , ever agree to meet anybody on such unknown calls. Even ISI and MI have a selection procedure and legal procedure to recruit/hire people. This sounds strange and weird.
Bottom Line: never agree to meet somebody with no ID even if he claims to be DG ISI himself:cantspeak: and don't disclose your personal information. If they ARE what they are claiming let them figure it out by themselves

Firstly, no one calls from the Military this way and secondly they are allowed to share their rank if they are on an investigation mode. It might be a wrong call, why worried. If they are after you in any case, they will call back. Warna miti pao...
My cousin's dad is the DDG ISI of Islamabad. Whenever he used to call me from his house No., it always came as Private No. or unknown No.
As far as I know only the ISI (intelligence) can create restricted No.'s like that.
Yeah exactly and why would ISI or IB call me. I did nothing wrong except playing pirated game. I just wanted to make sure who could he be. If he is not from any intelligence agency or something, then next time if he calls me, i will rip him apart.
