[SOLVED] Need Help about ddr3 bus speed.

Salam All,,
today i bought i3 sandybridge with dh61ww motherboard ,, when i installed my friend's ddr3 dominator 2gb stick it shows only 1067 memory speed. when the mobo supports upto 1333 bus speed then why it is showing only 1067?

Where is it showing 1067? Post both memory screens of CPU-Z.

You may have to manually set the speed to 1333.

i think you have to change the memory multiplier

it is showing in the bios so in the everest ultimate software,, and this board doesn't support manually speed change. my friend still have another 2gb stick , which is also started to showing 1066 bus speed since he gave me his 1 stick.

I am sure your board supports manual speed change. You are just not looking hard enough.

Refer to the previously linked document and check section 2.3. Set the jumper to enable bios maintenance mode and see if that turns up any options. See if there is a chipset config option. If this doesn't help you'll just have to live with the 1066Mhz RAM. Its not like faster memory will have any noticeable impact on system performance.

well i installed kingston value ram 1333 bus and it is working fine .thanks devnull and all.
