should i buy this card GiGABYTE AMD Radeon™ R9 390 GPU

Hello,

im planning to buy a gpu if any one can suggest is this good gpu to buy? please let me know with your valuable reviews thanks

Its either this or a GTX 970. They are both pretty equal in performance, the 390 has slightly better performance though. If you want performance and don't mind hotter and a more power hungry gpu, 390 is your best bet. Otherwise get the 970.

Either way both are great gpus for 1080p gaming on max settings for some to come.

Forgot to mention the driver support. At the moment Nvidea has better driver support. Since they're collaborating with some game developers. So thats another point to consider.

For smooth gaming NVIdia 970 and if you can bear some driver un-optimization issue then 390 worth it 8 GB Vram is simply Amazing offer from AMD even NVIDIA dont have 8GB GPU in that price range.

I would definitively recommend r9 390 over a GTX970 because of:

• Similar performance when compared to GTX 970
• Cheaper thus cost effective
• The irresistible 8GB VRAM along with a powerful processor

Where i do agree with driver support thingy, i dont believe both 970 and 390 are equal. Ive been watching reviews of 390 on youtube and 390 is beating 970 on all of them. Now with better driver optimization this performance will increase. To be clear 390 beats 970. 970 has better tdp but there is few degrees diference in temps of both cards on load. 8gb vram is awsome, i would go with it for future proofing as for sure with drivers performance will increase still now it has better performance.. g. Gya 5 on high textures reaches 3.5gb mark vram issue with 970.

I know there are many nvidia fans in pk just like intel but i go for better performance price and my next gpu is 390.
