Samsung Galaxy S4 (i9505) 3G Connectivity/Network Issue

Salam Everyone,
I have Samsung galaxy s4 (i9505) firmware installed 4.4.2. I am having issues regarding 3G Connectivity/network.
Only GSM Network mode is working fine. when I change the Network mode from 'GSM/WCDMA' to 'WCDMA only' signals are gone. and message comes up

"No Service
Selected Network (Telenor PK) not available."

when is click the message, it goes to Available Networks option and start Searching after few minutes nothing happens. it searched nothing.. I tried automatically searching, nothing happened.
In my Area 3G is provided by Telenor.
I have also tried my sim to different mobile, 3G signals are coming in that mobile. Tried different networks sim same result.

Tried flashing same firmware version of different country but result is same, 3G signals not coming. tried flashing Modem file but no advantage gained. :(

any Solution for this issue? will grateful for the responses!! :)

P.S. set is rooted.

[MENTION=9503]mave3[/MENTION] [MENTION=8060]abobobilly[/MENTION] sir ur help required, he bought this set frm market, he had 24hr check warnty but unfortunately he didnt check 3g connectivity within that period of checking warranty.

Cellphone should go into 3G mode when you change the band to WCDMA. Network Selection is not required. Maybe there is some Hardware flaw in your handset. You should ask on XDA for better support IMO.

Does it connect to 3G on dual mode ? Or maybe u have weak 3G signals thats why its not connecting ... try some other location and check

Listen, if your phone is rooted PM me.
If not, then lets try Service Mode.
Service Mode codes don't usually work for some reason. But give it a try.
*#2263# is the Service Code to use. Dial it and the Service Mode menu should open. Select the WCDMA Band Selection thing.
Press WCDMA 2100
Press OK
Reboot (if you want).

IF not, then I know what the problem is.
I too have an I9505 right now and I also use Telenor 3G. The thing is, you've flashed a Lollipop FW but modem is still the old one.

What you need to do is find the I9500/I9505 modem thread on XDA, navigate to the I9505 section and flash I9505XXUHOB8 modem and bootloader.
I'm using it right now, there is a difference in signal strength.
Try it out and let me know how it goes. :)

I have done this ...
I have re flashed stock rom of same version with different country labelled. it was working fine. but 3G was there.. I was told to upgrade to 5.0 and may be the problem wud be gone. but outcome is same.

I have rooted the lollipop firmware too.. and tried the code u given but code didn't work for me.
I also have flashed the latest modem and bootloader as u said, from [REF] GALAXY S4 (I9500/I9505) GSM / NON-HLOS - MODEM'S Collection (Odin/CWM/TWRP) - Post #0 - XDA Forums
but issue remains there.
u said "flash i9505XXUHOB8 modem" but I have I9505XXUHOB7 firmware installed right now so I flashed the modem and bootloader file acc. to my installed firmware. no positive result yet came by doing these. :( any other solution?

"Baseband Version" is written there, in ABOUT PHONE ... I thnk *1234# is no code for android cz it is not working for me. *#1234# is showing "AP , CP and CSC"
