You don't even know the struggles of being a girl and walking into those weird Pakistani shops to buy video games. I have to get my dad to accompany me whenever I go and buy video games because I get all the judgemental looks from the creeps who sell video games.

Second, there's this girl in my school, she games on PS4 as well, and also buys her games locally, she gets even more 'judgemental' looks because she's Korean.
She joined our PSN party once and said she got used to them and started ignoring it.

Okay, I probably overreacted because damn it, I'm sleepy. I have been deprived of a proper sleep since two days. By the way, my English is perfectly fine. I mean, I lived in Edinburgh for three years of my life. But yeah, when I lose my crap, my grammar becomes all 'destructive' too [emoji23]

I also happen to have Xbox and PS-4. But the last time i played either was 6 months ago. Somehow I have never been a console gamer. PC gaming all the way for me at least.
I would recommend to sell your PS-4 to a shop. If it is new, many shopkeepers will buy it for 3-5 thousand less and repack and sell them as new. Totally normal in Pakistan.

Anyway @Miss Kenway - there are a lot of folks here who will gladly help you out from the goodness of their heart. No need to feel left out. But also, you need to stop going to shop keepers. They are horrible people who don't know what they're selling. Buy your games from the PG Market Place. I may sound like I'm marketing for Pakgamers but believe me, I don't get paid for it (@Jshak - wouldn't mind if I do ).

Where as PC is concerned, as Pakgamer's favorite Chicken said ( @GloriousChicken), put your money on the PC and forget the Xbox one.

From a person who owns the PC and both consoles, I can tell you it will sit idle just like your PS4 does. See the response from other members as well. We all feel the same about this gen consoles.

But... if you invest your money on the PC instead, it will open up a HUGE list of games for you. Plus you can play Xbox 'play anywhere' titles with your friends, even if they are gaming on the XB1. I do this with Forza Horizon 3 all the time.

If you want, you can provide the specs of your current PC [not laptop] here and good folks at Pakgamers can recommend some parts to upgrade within your budget. And don't worry about the virus, that will be taken care of as well.



But then again, if your heart is truly set on the Xbox 1, then by all means pick it up. It'd suck if you start another thread here in a couple of months saying that people at Pakgamers forced you to buy the PC and now it's sitting idle


EDIT: P.S. no need to lose your grades to show you're a gamer. That's not a smart or a wise decision. The only person who will lose in this is you. Focus on your studies - video games aren't going anywhere...

Thanks for all the advices guys! But selling a console isn't that easy. Everyone seems to be bargaining and my parents kinda have trust issues, but I'll see. I can talk to them and sell it. (I even have 3 new PS4 video games...)
