Im on PTCL, i get around 110-130ms ping to asian servers which is ok for me. I have to restart the modem sometimes to get good routing. I have noticed IPs starting with 119.xx.xx.xx have good routing to asian servers unlike 39 and 182. Back in Saudi Arabia i used to get 70-90ms stable ping to EU servers and 140-160ms to East US it was amazing. PTCL is not very stable for me, but it works ok unless i play in the evening when PTCLs exchange gets overloaded. I have yet to see an ISP that provides decent service with good routing in Pakistan. Saudi Arabia internet was amazing with 90% urban areas covered with FTTH service and stupid PTCL just can't provide me a decent service here. Its pathetic.

Pings on SEAS are unstable from 2 days since Operation Chimera update came out. Even IPs starting with 119 are giving more than 200ms pings now :(

I am gettin 140ms PING on weu (western Europe) Data Center after op. Chimera update. I was also getting same ping before the update.

ANyone else here getting 200+ pings on SEAS on ptcl from past 03 days????????????? Earlier i was getting 120 to 125 MS on IP starting with 119.xx.xxx.xx

True. Pings have been fluctuating on Seas lately. From 120 to 200+ and data centers automatically change to Weu or Neu sometimes instead of Seas. However Connect gives me 80ms on seas and 190 on Weu, but there is some packet loss here and there.

Yeah, now IPs starting with 119 are giving me 200ms+ ping. PTCL is so fked up and when i call them for help they don't do crap to fix it. I miss my internet in KSA. It was just so damn awesome. Im so done with PTCL, switching to WorldCall and i hope that works.

Its so damn hard to get used to a developing country's internet when you move here from a developed country :(

Its near to Jinnah Intl Airport. Shah Faisal Colony. I am in Karachi.

Ftth is not available here yet so I was relying on PTCL for a while. Using their 20mbps vdsl package. Which gives 20d and just 5u... and ping to even Dubai is like 200ms and Eu even more than that. So decided to try out Connect after like 3 years.. turns out that ping to Dubai is like 30ms and EU is 120-130 on good days because they use TW routing. However there is packet loss here and there. But really a very good alternative for gaming compared to PTCL.

I can play BF1 & R6 on better pings so thumbs up from me

Please let me know if ping issue on SEAS gets resolved by PTCL and it gets back stabilized at 120 MS. Thanks.

Will do. Though I am planning to complete disconnect PTCL and upgrade to Brown 10mb of connect

Just for the information who are using PTCL. pings are stable today on SEAS at 125 MS. IP pool starting from 39.xx.xx.xxx.xxx

Online gaming seems impossible now while living in Pakistan, really annoying but you gotta admit the truth and stop struggling until this corrupt Government company (PTCL) has done something about it.

so happy today got 125ms ping on seas server ps4's ! pawned ppl today :D very happy...

ptcl 8mb package. dunno suddenly from 250ms past few days week. i got 120ms pings.

You need to be on the ip starting from 39.37.xxx.xxx in order to get 120MS ping on SEAS otherwise pings will go above than 230 MS on SEAS. in order to get this ip you need to restart your modem until you get this specific IP.

i just restarted my modem a two days back usually its on ups so doesnt need resetting but i just did and got these pings, dunno about ip

    Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.
