[Q] How much would my laptop's HDD sell for?

Hi Guys,

I will most probably buying an SSD for my laptop, but before that I want to get rid of my current HDD, which is 500GB.

I also understand laptop HDD demand is very less or non-existent atleast from what I have realized, people opt for HDD they received from vendor i.e. that came installed.

So what should I expect at what amount my drive could be sold?

I don't want it to getting dusted in my drawer for years.

Why don't you put the HDD in as an additional drive using a caddy? Like, in place of the dvd drive. That's what I did with mine. Got almost a tb of space with an active SSD. Really couldn't ask for more from my machine.

I will be buying a 240/256 GB SSD, and I don't do much gaming except for Dota 2 these days. So I don't need that much space. On the other hand, two drives means more power consumption and heat, which I don't want.
