PTCL connection drops and takes while to connect

I am facing this problem for past three days. Connection suddenly drops and takes like 20~30 minutes or sometimes more before it is up again. I have changed the routers and phone wire incoming to router. SNR margins are good and no problem with phone line. No speed problems as well. Anyone else having same problems?
Please help.

Sometimes the connection is only up for like 5 minutes before it drops again

when i turn on my system then my router also takes alot of time to connect to the interent infact i've to restart teh router and system again n again then suddenly it connects, happening with me since couple of days.

hmm...strange phenomenon occurred today at this time..Speed is halved. Was downloading through torrent and maximum could get is 66 KB/s. tried to open PG and other sites, they wouldn't open. Only google and few others were opening. Did a speedtest and found speed is halved...


But was worried why I couldn't open sites while downloading at full speeds so I decided to change the DNS servers from those of PTCL's to Google's Public DNS...seems to be able to browse for the moment

But i got this problem yesterday for about 2 hours, and after that, it went smooth.

I believe it might happen again. Atleast its PTCL lol

According to the guy i've asked about this issue, this matter should be resolved by now, but it isn't. :S

I was having the same prob a week back. I called PTCL and filed a complaint. They've fixed it now. So i recommend you call them and tell them ur prob.

same ping issue with me but ptcl guys r doing nothing ... other than saying it ll be set in 1 or 2 days
