PTA Tax for an iPhone 11

As there are iPhones available in the market that only have the physical SIM approved by PTA, and not the eSim, I wanted to know how that can be done.

I have heard that the cost to do so is basically half of the actual tax applicable, so if the total tax is 40k, you have to pay 20k.

Can that simply be achieved by entering only one IMEI while registering your phone, or is there some trick you need to do? I'm looking to get one and I don't really care about having the eSim approved.

It's not like that.

If a phone is available in two variants, one single SIM and one dual SIM, the tax will be identical for both.

Yes, there is a way to do , what shopkeepers are doing is they are registering physical sim IMEI of 2different Iphones and entering them as IMEI's of a single dual sim phone, this way they get 2iphones approved in price of 1. you can also try if you got 2non PTA phones. but incase you report one iPhone stolen and get it blocked the other iPhone associated might also get blocked. so thats a risk you gotta take.
