i agree with ashhad. Shyber was selling his near perfect 4ogb a while back and even his price was around 12-13k. so u can imagine that if a perfectly working 40gb is selling for around 10k, a faulty one won't even come close to that. i don't know about re-balling cuz when i spoke to faizy, he just said it's better to get a new one. you can try asking him yourself if you want a better opinion.

Nouman as I know you use your ps3 for CFW games so I would advise you to sell this and get a used jasper fat 360 console
you should get it for 12-14k easily

No I don't want 360 bcoz of its RROD & it doesn't have uncharted series & some other exclusives.

fat ps3 mostly gets YLOD. i have seen two cases of my friend.one got YLOD when i was playing on that... its very painful moment for the owner. he got it repaired but it YLODED again after some days. now its a crap

but there are ways to fix ylod ps3...

i have two ps3s one fat one slim.

fat got ylod and i am thinking of reparing it my self any advice?

i fixed ps3 slim 250gb model.it had a very weard issue.the ps3 used to boot up 1 to 2 ot of 10 to 15 times.it shows green light but no display.if the ps3 did boot then it freezes when i play any game and green and red pixels scatter across the screen.i first took the risk to open it .on youtube it was told that four coins on the gpu or the cpu will do the trick.i tried it but ps3 shut down after 1 to 3 hours.i tweaked the method by making aluminum foil base and made an aluminum coin sandwitch.when i turned the ps3 onn.it worked. i tested it for 12hours stress test and it passed but the fan speed goes to full in the first 30minutes but no worries.it is working fine ever since.​
