Hello Guys I am planning to buy a new rig so i was just wondering how much can i get for this rig of mine.



Motherboard: Intel DH55PJ
Processor: Intel Core i3 550 @3.2 ghz
Memory: Corsair Vengeance @1600mhz 4GB
Graphics:XFX HD Radeon 6850 Black Edition
HDD: Seagate 500GB
PSU: Cooler Master 600W
Casing: Thermal Take V3
Optical Drive: Label Flash DVD Multi Recorder R DL
Additional accesories: 1 LED fan Cooler Master 120mm

My own estimate is about 40k

PS:tell me the estimate for whole of it not the individual parts

30-33k maximum. MY ADVICE. If you have a budget of 40k, get an extra fan (for case cooling) with a 2nd gen i3 or a 1st gen i5

I am gonna add further 1 lac to it and build a high end rig , isnt it a good idea ?

Sure it is , but under 80k you can get a DAMN good rig

Btw your Mobo won't support 1600mhz ram

If you are looking to spend big bucks on a rig it is best to a wait a month or two until Haswell arrives in Pakistan.

Selling price of his current system depends on when he sells it. When he sells his old system depends on when he wants to buy his new system. So when to buy the new system is definitely relevant to the OP's question.

Answer: It depends on when you sell it. Asking for the current price is pointless if you plan to sell it 2-3 months down the road.

Also FYI we aren't robots who just blindly follow orders. We are thinking human beings. I wrote what I did so that the OP would reconsider the timing of his buying and selling so that he can maximize what he gets for his money.

Your sophisticated answer carries no weight, not even a little. The simple fact of the case is that the OP is asking current price of his rig and you are repeatedly saying it depends when he will sell it. Does he need to tell you exact date and time of selling ? No dear, its not like that. He intends to let his current system go so asking for an idea of price that what can he get from it. Thats it.

You can suggest whatever you deem fit to the OP and I will not have any kind of objection but your prime reprehensibility is to address query of the OP first. This is "Help Desk" so sawal channa and jawab Abuses will lead to banham will not work here. Try to provide to the point and meaningful information if you really want to help someone. Oh its error on my part i was posting on some another topic mistakenly posted here.

and on topic i guess OP will get 30-32k for his rig maybe slightly more if some parts have warranty.
