PTCL provides GPON services in Bahria Town I think. There is no way Nayatel will be able to compete with that.
They do, but not fully. One street of Phase 1 is covered, along with some streets in Safari 3 and the whole of executive lodges.
Everyone else is on ancient copper DSL lines.
Also depends on people's requirements. The amount of times my IP changes because the ONT drops the connection is more than I expected. If I check the log, it'll have dropped the connection 2-3 times in the middle of the night. Their GPON is only good for heavy downloading and nothing else.
I would probably get a Nayatel connection only for the TV (hdbox) cause their internet sucks ass and PTCLs SmartTV regardless of being connected through HDMI is the worst TV service ever.
Any update on this issue? It seems nothing has appeared after CCP's hearing in August.
