pls help me for GOD sake

Hi my name is salman ... i am using ptcl SNR is 17 sometimes its 15 or 16 but stable connection ... attentuation is also low ...

downloading and streaming is A1 but when i connect to a steam game online multiplayer and game starts

i show drop to other players

i mean when the online session starts in a game lobby .. i drop

pls tell me the reason pls

game name is RISE OF NATIONS EXTENDED EDITION on steam platform

One thing i want to ADD .. i cant connect to international games only .. i mean when international players join my game or i join them i drop

to local players in pakistan there are few i dont drop

maybe other people are using internet on your lan or wifi so maybe thats why drops are there.

it was fine before 7 days........ or 10 but now this problem .. yes i gave one connection from router one friend bu it was fine before

Hello!


It might help to try the following if there are no issues with the internet connection:
- make sure upnp service is enabled for your router ... or the ports suggested by steam are forwarded properly
- try the version 1.10 of the game by reverting to it ... can also play lan games with it (an advanced option would be to use something like a zerotier network to add players to the lan game)
- it has been suggested at some places to verify integrity of local files (cache) as well

Multiplayer is sort of buggy from the forums posts seen for the game with distance between players seemingly playing an important role! There are also reports of multiplayer going down for days even!

Ok i tried vpn its working on vpn but not on normal internet what could b issue ? no isp can access online on niormal internet but vpn works

Unfortunately, there could be a number of reasons for the game not working properly without the vpn, ranging from unoptimized paths to p2p traffic shaping to country-wide firewall(s). In order to try to troubleshoot, one could:
- try to find out the IP address(es) involved ... TCPView might help in this case
- try to trace the routes
- ask the ISP to try to optimize the paths
It should be noted that, depending upon the nature of the multiplayer game, like in case of p2p, none of the above might apply!

pls help this is picture of tcpview .. i started a game without vpn again and it dropped.. i am sure this game might b p2p i dont know what p2p is ...

but pls help me i have CALLED PTA (pakistan telecommunication authority) and all other isps and they tell they have not blocked any game named RISE OF NATIONS EXTENDED edition STeam

pls tell me how to optomize the path way u said .. or make it work
