[h=3]Frostbite 3 Supports DirectX 11.1 API – Faster GPU/CPU Performance on PCs and Xbox One[/h]Now this is the interesting bit, DICE confirms that the Frostbite 3 engine supports DirectX 11.1 API as revealed by DSOGaming.
“We use DX11.1, there are some optimizations in it (constant buffer offsets, dynamic buffers as SRVs) that we got in to the the API that improves CPU performance in our rendering when one runs with DX11.1. This will be in BF4.”
This means that PC and Xbox One versions of Battlefield 4 would be more optimized than PlayStation 4. There’s also a hint at AMD’s Next “Never Settle Bundle” featuring Battlefield 4 as a free title which is a good deal for AMD users.

Add another game to the PS4 library as developer Ronimo Games has confirmed that Awesomenauts will be making its way to Sony's next-gen console.
The PlayStation 4 version of the sidescrolling multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) title will be derived from the latest PC version of the game. That will include a variety of fixes for the game as well as an extra map, more characters to play with, and customized skins via DLC.
The PS4 port will be handled by Abstraction Games, the same folks behind the PS3 and PS Vita port of the violent stylized Hotline Miami. Apparently they may be bringing Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition to the PS Vita as well.
Awesomenauts is currently available on PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

Announced during Sony's press conference at Gamescom, Twitch will be coming to the PlayStation 4. It will utilize the share button on the Dual Shock 4 controller, allowing players to broadcast their game session with a touch of a button. The app will be available on the next-gen console this fall and it will be available for free with no PS+ subscription required.
If you prefer to spectate rather than livestream your gameplay, you'll be able to do just that as well. According to the announcement, a viewer app will be available on the console.
"PlayStation has a long history of delivering some of the best gaming experiences in the industry and we're excited to have Twitch available on a console as heavily anticipated as PS4," Twitch CEO Emmett Shear said in a press release. "Through this partnership we are paving the way for every PS4 gamer to become both a broadcaster and an avid spectator of amazing content."
"Social capabilities are an integral part of PS4, so Twitch will play an important role in delivering a compelling connected experience to PlayStation fans," said Sony's Shuhei Yoshida. "Twitch's gamer-focused community combined with our strong portfolio of innovative PS4 titles, will help define next generation gameplay and community engagement."
