I need to wake up? Space Chimps is a boxed game. The only reason its being sold at $10 is because it was released 2 years ago and was met with terrible reviews.

No. All im saying is that developers dont want to take their chances with the PS3 because of the high development costs.

Nah. I'm quite sure the development costs are quite similar, at least across the 360 and PS3. Wii might be cheaper but I can't say. However, given the userbase count and the attach rate, any developer will have a much higher chance of making money or recovering costs on the 360 than on the PS3. Of course that's where first and second parties come in and differ.

Cheaper, low budget games get good reviews as well. High development cost in a game doesn't guarantee that its gonna be a hit.

If you want to give importance to the stats at all, the ones I posted (from metacritic) are a much better source than the one presented in the OP, which doesn't look good for the X360 at all.

That's because it scored around in the late 80s. I think it was 88 or 89. My list isn't the final word that one console is superior to another. For a less vague comparison we need to take into consideration all the games of a particular year. Fortunately, Metacritic has 'em.
