need suggestion for new connection :O i live in karachi area Model colony near air port. Fiberlink & storm fiber not available in my area my only choice is PTCL .. so i need a feedback .. :O

Transworld user here since April. Yet to experience high pings issue. Perhaps its with certain countries only?

I play on my xbox regularly online and my experience has been the same in the last 6 months.

TES is the least likely to have issues since they provide bandwidth to everyone else.

Certain countries and/or servers as well (EA, Valve etc).

Best fiber options in Lahore Cantt near Rahat Bakers? Have the PTCL 12mb but the disconnections are terrible. The PTCL technician on his umpteenth visit also suggested that I go for two separate 4mb connections as the copper wires in the area can only work so much on the faster packages without disruptions.

PTCL GPON and their extremely limited coverage.

Damn. Inquire at your local exchange if and when PTCL GPON will be available.

If not, then DSL will have to suffice until Nayatel decides to expand to Soan Garden.

They charge you for it. You can pay upfront or in installments.

There are 2 different installment plans that you can see on their website.

But if I'm not wrong IMEWE is still damaged and there is no estimated time of repair given yet.

Any news on the gpon in bahria town rwp ?
They ve finished laying fiber lines in our lane. I saw the fiber cable and the connection slot is left just outside my gate in phase 3.

I called the local exchange and they said they dont know when it would be officially available...

1-2 weeks more.

When they were laying the cables in my street, it took them a bit more than a week after they closed everything up. Then one day a van came and the installation team set everything up.

Drop by the exchange and ask for Abu Bakr, ask him when it'll be active in your area.

The people who attend the phone calls at the exchange don't know their ass from their elbow. They didn't even know about VDSL, let alone GPON.
