well as far as i know there isn't way to get a stable overclock going without a xm processor and as far as gpus go they cant be overclocked that much cause of the power and cooling constraints of the laptop
but i know that there are vbios available for the 680m that makes them perform at their peak but your problem is prolly the cpu bottleneck the 680m is notoriously power hungry you need a really powerful cpu to keep up with its output hence my cpu upgrade. yours being in sli will defiantly benefit from a better cpu
btw i haven't seen your laptop yet why haven't you posted pics here ?

8 gb ram 1333mhz ddr3
1 tb hdd
Hd radeon 6770 1 gb
Intel hd 3000 (switchable graphics)
Windows 7 ultimate
All the games works super fine and i have almost played every game on it from the current one's NFS Rivals and Assassins Creed Black Flag.
Using this beast since last 2 years.

try the hwinfo program with the alienware laptops. it can also control the speed of fans if you need it to
the last i remembered u called a mac laptop extreme ---cant wait to see itA super extreme laptop coming in a few days hopefully

So i just found out that f***ing s***bag Microsoft shut down Arkane Studio (makers of the brilliant Dishonored series) and Tango Gameworks (makers of the iconic The Evil Within series), among some other studios. Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
