Passport Lost

Bros my passport is lost what is the procedure to get a new one. It was not expired. There was no visa on the old one.
The old one was of 5 years validity. Will expiry date of the new one will be the same or new expiry and issue date will be given. Now, I want to go for 10 years validity passport. Is it possible?
Will the new passport cause any problems in getting visa?

You have to register an FIR, and take a copy of that with you to the passport office. Once that is attached with your passport form, only then will they issue you a new one.

Yes it is possible. Costs a bit extra though.

Well, no. The ease of getting a visa depends on what visa you are applying for, your travel history, financials and so on.

Already its been more than 15 days
