lol the reddit quotes the article is based on points at quick turns and the difference in frame rate. Some of the game logic would probably be tied to frame rate if the animations are slower at 30fps.

Console players never had a problem doing Destiny raids. Surely, it has nothing to do with Division 2's mechanics being worse lol.

Even funnier is the fact that it's been less than 48 hours since the raid was added to Division 2. It's not a very popular game on consoles, as sales didn't meet expectations. How big is the user base that's even attempting to complete it on the PS4 or Xbox One? lol
Wow small user base. What a lame excuse. Even the most profitable games can end up not meeting "ambitious sales expectations" for these publishers. It topped the March 2019 NPD.

Maybe the Division 2 console player base doesn't need millions of more players but just two people namely PowerPyx and you

What a lame excuse.
Not as lame as that article :hah:

Kotaku: Console players can't beat The Division 2's Raid

12 hours later: Console players beat The Division 2's raid

https://www.reddit.com/r/thedivision/comments/bqaqyz/we_beat_the_raid_on_ps4/

But but but....they do have access to analog movement
Out of curiosity, I bought the game to see what the movement's like, and I have to say it doesn't feel very responsive (even with deadzone set to 0) at 30fps. Moreover, there's no crouch, and stealth is limited to ambushing enemies with silenced weapons. What a missed opportunity. Analog movement doesn't help here at all.

Not fair Ubisoft. Bechaaro ko koi XIM 4 accessory hi gift kardo

‘The Division 2’ Is Not Even Considering Making Its Raid Easier On PS4 And Xbox One

There are no plans to adjust the difficulty of the Dark Hours raid, either on PC, where it’s very tough, or on console, where a truly microscopic portion of the playerbase has been able to beat it.

The fact remains that the raid is so crushingly difficult, it’s turning off many players, console players especially. By last count, some 7,000 players had cleared the raid on PC, compared to just 150 console players out of the entire playerbase. While it’s been proved that yes, the raid is possible to clear on consoles, and even clear quickly with the right group and strategies, that doesn’t mean it’s proving to be an effectively engaging activity, the kind the playerbase (and Ubisoft) was hoping for.

Who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

At least the microscopic portion data is factual and not on account of "honest mistakes" :flame:

With the amount of hacks available on PC, comparing raid completion data with other platforms is kinda pointless ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If a few groups did it on consoles, others will too. It's a matter of time.

None of those videos show people completing the raid in question. So you're right, posting such videos is pointless ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (unless ofcourse this was just an honest mistake lol)

You misunderstood. I asked for further insight into why this (what I said regarding the Division 2's exploitable state on PC being a factor in raid outcomes) "sounds so silly", not for the definition of the term.
No no. I understood it perfectly. The further insight lies in the definition.

The further insight lies in the definition.
Inference =/= logical fallacy.

To quote an example of logical fallacy from your source:

“Don’t grow a mustache, because Hitler had a mustache. Therefore, you will be like Hitler!”
There is no evidence to support the claim in the above sentence. Meanwhile, I said that, because Division 2 is exploitable on PC and because there is evidence to support that these exploits are being used, stats/leaderboards of any kind (not just the raid) are meaningless. Division 1 was also an exploited mess on PC.

Inference =/= logical fallacy.

Faulty inference, however, is. Some examples of the flaws upon which you based your argument:

There is evidence to support that there are suicide bombers living in Pakistan. Therefore, it can be inferred, that everyone living in Pakistan is a suicide bomber.
There is evidence to support that terrorists are muslims. Therefore, it can be inferred, that all muslims are terrorists.

There is evidence to support that person X robbed a convenient store. Therefore, it can be inferred, that all convenient stores will be robbed by person X.

Sounds silly, doesn't it?
You are disregarding the efforts of the entire PC playerbase by calling it meaningless, based on the actions of a few. Not to mention you have zero evidence that the people exploiting even managed to influence the outcome of the raid (or the leaderboards in general). None of the articles I read related to this raid's completion rate and difficulties even entertain the possibility of PC users hacking their way through it. It's just you.

Damn, should've got the game on PC. Could've done a "No Damage" raid video :hah:

convenient store
It's called a convenience store. Though I won't be providing further insight on this by linking you to a dictionary :hah:

Not to mention you have zero evidence that the people exploiting even managed to influence the outcome of the raid (or the leaderboards in general).
And you have zero evidence that they didn't. What's stopping the same individuals who recorded all those Youtube videos (I shared just two) from doing the raid using these hacks? Unless you somehow believe hackers would have no interest in raids for some make believe reason, raid stats are affected by cheaters.

The evidence for general leaderboards has already been provided via the videos I shared. All player data is logged, including those of hackers. To say that it would have no influence on general leaderboards is what would I would term as faulty inference.

None of the articles I read related to this raid's completion rate and difficulties even entertain the possibility of PC users hacking their way through it. It's just you.
The articles are nothing more than click-bait. They were posted 24 hours after the raid's launch. Another 12 hours later, console players did the raid on both PS4 and Xbox One.

You were quick to share that article. Why haven't you shared stuff like this?

https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2016/apr/26/hackers-cheats-ruined-the-division-pc-ubisoft

Coming soon: have hackers/cheater ruined The Division 2 on PC? lol this is a vicious cycle. There is no cure for cheating on PC.

And you have zero evidence that they didn't.
Let me link you to another fallacy you just committed:

An argument from ignorance (Latin: argumentum ad ignorantiam), or appeal to ignorance ('ignorance' stands for "lack of evidence to the contrary"), is a fallacy in informal logic. It says something is true because it has not yet been proved false.
Which makes your jumping to conclusions silly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Dude come on, linking me to raid videos isn't going to prove anything. These cheats aren't easy to spot unless used consistently. Don't you think Ubisoft's anti-cheat system would be effective if it were so? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

*in b4 another fallacy in informal logic committed* :hah:

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
