Hey bro,
I'm sure about the GPU performance but then i'm not sure about the processor. Example being the first laptop i mentioned. I'm not sure about IF the processor can take the game..

Is 3dMark11 a good test to check general GPU performance? Does anyone know ?Or which particular benchmark would give more definite answers

Depends on the hero imo. If you've got an escape or are speedy, just go for pure damage (if you've that kinda score and farm).

Don't ask such questions here. Bunch of retarded elitists :tv:

yeah 3d mark 11 is a pretty good synthetic benchmark for gaming, dota 2 is not really that processor bound and well it should work just fine for you np

I get severe frame rate drop in dota 2 with an i5 and 6770m. It's mostly because my laptop heats up and starts throttling. Doesn't happen with Hon, just dota.

DOTABUFF - Dota 2 Stats - Match 43771362 my worst ever attempt at morf (safe to say i have improved since then) ...this is guys how you fail to play as a carry ...utterly let the team down :D

Okay did some deeper diggin in the matter now Results: CPU Benchmarks - Dota 2 Performance, Benchmarked and here is the PassMark CPU Benchmarks - High Mid Range CPU's and this Results: High Details, 1680x1050 - Dota 2 Performance, Benchmarked

so after comparing the two your average will be 60 fps somewhat with the lowest laptop ur going to buy ...since the cpu bootleneck but thats counting ur minimum fps ...im thinking you will be fine man :O just go for it your screen resolution is even lower so that would push it to even better in terms of fps counts ...and i personally dont think dota 2 is required with 60fps and even 30 is fine enough cause of the lower pace of the game overall :O

    It may win the "best visuals" category, but that's about it. A GOTY contender needs to nail all aspects (Story, Gameplay, Visuals, etc)

    BTW, i started Ghost of Tsushima, and it got me hooked within the first couple of minutes. I already know It's gonna be a memorable experience. This is how you make a proper Samurai game. Not that SJW game Ubisoft is making.

    I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.
