guys i am just about to buy G2. i am more inclined towards Korean varient F320 S or K due to sd card slot and removable battery. my only concern is battery life. all the other varients have 3000 mAH as comapred to 2610 mAH. how much 390 mAH can make difference?

the price difference between F320 and international varient is 2K.

i have had G2 LS980 and its battery was excellent! like the best i have ever had in any phone!
especially the wifi usage did not drain much battery at all. browsing on stock browser would last me more than 9 hours which is AWESOME! dont know about Korean model. u will not find almost any one who actually owned and USED both the variants let alone all of them.
390mAh might actually make some difference, just my guess.

LG D800, D801, VS980, LS980 and F320L.. these models don't support 4G, that is why difference is only 2K. Global version D802 is what you should buy if you need international version as it supports 4G as well but it is around 30K. In Korean, you can get F320S or K version. Battery backup is good. Obviously Korean version has less battery backup than international but it is not poor, rather very good. You can get 5 hours screen on time easily on wifi, depending on screen brightness.

korean g2 has 2600mah while international has over 3000mah battery

so international version has more battery life

but with korean variant u get replaceable battery plus external sd slot

Sprint, Verizon & At&t all of these don't support 4G at all. I had LS980 model. Battery time was awesome but it got locked whenever I updated it to the latest firmware. I had to again re-root and unlock the phone which was a hassle. I recommend that you get the 32gb ver of Lg G2 d802. If memory is not a major concern for you then simply go for 16gb d802 model. I am currently using the d802 model and battery timing is great on this too. Never used Korean so cannot comment anything about them.

Memory is not a concern for me i am happy even with 4gb builtin but the phone must have sd card slot. Factory reseting will also erase the data so no use for me. (I will try lots of roms)

I wount be using 4g but will test whenever possible. I know about the models which support our local 4g.

My only concern is battery timing. How much difference between 2610 mah vs 3000 mah?

I feel worthy difference between battery timing, I had F320L and now I am using D802. I think LG has done better to tune D802 as compared to F320L/S/k(I dont know if korean sets are updated by LG or not). Korean set was a bit jurky/laggy sometimes.

korean variants are not bad but software optimizations and factory updates are always better on international version...

for G2 specifically what i have found is there is no difference if u get Korean or non korean. its Battery life is great no matter u get Korean or other variant. if battery timings and sd card are on top of ur priorities go for Korean model. no matter u get korean or anyother there is only 1 rom which is hand down THE BEST one for G2 and that is Cloudy Rom. u will end up installing thats in any variant u get, i can promise u that!
Korean will comparatively be cheaper and also there is NO difference in battery life whatsoever! if u have some, go and get a spare one.

Alright today after alot of search i have bought a G2 F320L (it is receiving LTE signals) from sigapur Plaza. the phone is in very nice new like condition. the battery was on 18% when i bought it. i installed the sim and memory card on the phone and connected it on wifi. the phone felt warm is this OK? the battery was close to dead at 5% when i reached home the wifi was on. then i connected it to my home wifi to update and the phone turned after 5 minutes! I put it on charge and then take out from the charge at 12 % due to load shedding and then turned on its torch for few minutes. use wifi on playstore and left for the office and the phone is again at 5%! currently phone is off. Brightness was always at 40%. now tell me people is battery timing good or bad becuase i never charged it to more than 18% but looking at the drop rate i have feeling that battery is not good. what you say?

You need to charge it properly to test. LED drains battery like 1% or more in one minute. Screen on time, if you use at auto brightness -battery will b down like 1% after 3 minutes or so - giving you around 5 hours screen on time if 100% charged. It depends on other factors as well, check if location is turned off, also other sync. apps etc.

D802 has around 7 hours screen on time.

Playing game drains battery much faster than browsing or watching movie. After 2 hours screen on time it must hav been around 55_60% which is quite normal.
Btw, which Rom u r using?? Also let the phone plugged in for another 15-20 minutes once it says 100% charged.

That's still higher than it's total play length. A 5 hour campaign for a $50 game is downright scammy.

I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

As per WCCF Tech review, Xbox Series X doesn't even maintain a consistent FPS and sometimes drops into the mid-20fps range. That's unacceptable, tbh.

Score 1 for game pass. I wouldn't pay full price for this at retail either.

PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.
