Initially means it was made available to more countries in batches.

Hence, the metric of "success" is not comparable at all.

Valve isn't relying on Steam Deck's sales to stay in business, unlike Nintendo is with their hardware

Imagine thinking Valve giving left overs to Switch means they need to "recover" whereas CerebralTiger's greatest selling and favorite shooter itself still needs Steam to survive. Yikes!

Same reason no PS/Xbox controller has back pedals to this day. SCUF filed a lawsuit. I'm glad I got mine though
