also how easily they were able to change the viewers' emotions. in the start i hated tomoya's dad cause you know but in the end when he meets his grandmother and found about his dad's hardships. i started feeling bad for him too

Clannad is a very realistic anime IMO (except for a couple of things), and the way they showed Tomoya's struggle and his emotions were very real and can actually happen to a real person. This is one of the reasons why it makes it so good.

If I had just quit the game during the credits, then the game wouldve left a bad taste in my mouth seeing such an awesome and brilliant plan by maou and then having such a shitty death and lackluster ending. BUT then.. the epilogue.. THAT was some awesome shit! :wink2: First four chapters werent really that spectacular but its the fifth chapter where everything big happens. Awesomeness spilled everywhere, I really didnt want it to finish :frown: Whoever wrote this is a genius

I dont know why.... In clannad i was about to cry BUT in tokyo mag. 8.0 i ACTUALLY CRIED... for the first time in my life watching an anime :D

Its amazing how this show makes you feel. I really felt sorry for Tomoya's dad when Tomoya remembers his dad's efforts into raising him and all the hardships he went through and when Tomoya finally tells his dad that his job is done.
