I have a wii but to come online i would have to update wouldn't I? so thats the problem i dont know how to update... can anyone plz help and tell me how to update my wii...

OK so if u wanna update go to ur wii setting..... go to internet.... wen u configure ur setting correctly u winn get in option to update kk?

@mobi: im the mod here its my duty to tell u something when u are doing WRONG and making mutlitple threads of the same kind, now wouldn't that fall into the category of increasing your post count...

just told u to ask ur codes here in a single thread instead of making more threads of same kind

and yeah u need to update to go online, when u go online go into settings and check for update and then just update to latest firmware

anyways @mobi: no it wont ban u, this isn't like xbox360 that if u go onlive and update it might ban u from playing online games...

@sadan: well i usually play online games from ps3 :) free and cheap lol mostly fighting and fps, i only play offline games on wii :) just the love for mario and some other games hehe

Manigamer bhai when i went there to update it said that is you have any unauthorized hardware it might ban my wii...

mani but wii online is also Free.... i mean u cant play SSBB on wii can u... its AN amazin game... n Mario cart wii and so many other amazing games which r only Fun on the wii.... i recommend u guys try to start play wii online... i KNOW that there is LAgg.. but if we PLAY locally more then INternational.. we wount have that Problem.... so wat do u GUYS say

yar here is the deal... u have a mod Chip right.... so wen ur using a MOD chip there is a smalll amount of risk that ur mod chip gets detected... n then ull have to get a new one.....but my friend got his wii chiped n he tryed updaten cuz he wanted to try ONLINE..... so it WORKED fine.....

Some ppl Survive... others dont.. few cases DONT... magority DO
Correct me if im Wrong

thats just a trick from nintendo to scare u to not update thus not playing online lol

anyways i do play my wii but not online since its a hassle as i have no wifi router atm and i play offline with friends :) mario kart, SSBB :D

ok so freind codes r the only way we can communicate with each other on the wii... there r codes 4 ur wii and every online game on the wii.... if we add each other on our wiis then we can chat n stuff if we add each other on our games.. we can play

    I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.
