O Level admission test in 9th grade?

Salam.

Wanted to know a few things about admission test in 9th grade of an O Level school. Its been quite a number of years for me since I was in 9th, but I need the info because my cousins will apply from Matric system to O Level system in the 9th class.

So my question is that:
What to expect in the Maths, Science and English tests?
Will they have difficulty in going from Matric directly to the main classes of O Levels (9th to 11th that is). They are good students, and have studied in the same school I had before I made my move to O Levels.

Mom is asking me to prepare them for O Level admission test. I don't have time so I could just give them tips on what to study etc.

Any kind of help from someone who is currently studying in 8th-10th grade would be very appreciated.

My brother gave an admission test in Beaconhouse in May for Senior-1 [I think that's what it's called].
Not sure how much the test differs in other schools wrt Beacon, but I didn't see my bro prepare much for the test.
Just the usual stuff that he learned before saw him through. Though he is a bright student.

Yeah SR-1 is where my cousins would be taking the admission test for.

What is your bro currently studying in Maths. Like LCMs, percentages, HCFs etc? And also ask him what he is studying in Science. Thanks
