Time to Switch!

I only support platforms that give me great exclusive content, or have the potential to do so in future. Not to mention, I also needed a handheld gaming device after selling the PS Vita.

P.S. Couldn't find the black version anywhere, so will grab a black left joycon separately and get rid of that ridiculous looking light blue one lol. Red and black is the way to go.

nice you SWITCHED from vita

it has potential for great games

but just potential cann't get them anywhere .. if only they show some 3-4 games which are as good as zelda or any of sony's exclusives even if they get later dates no issue atleast we wll knw somthing is coming except for mario and wario and peach n toad n broswer n all the things my 8year old nephew plays

I already got the switch and thanks God it doesn't have any joycon issues or dead pixel(at least for now).I was asking about the pouch and tempered glass for the switch .

Hi could you please kindly tell me form where you got the screen protector and the pouch?
@CerebralTiger
Got it from Germany, but I'm sure they're available in Pak as well. Maybe not the same brands.

The screen protector is an absolute must. I got lucky because the dock that came with my Switch doesn't scratch the screen protector even after having docked it over a dozen times. But it's best to follow the necessary precautions.

Sony didn't build the PS4's exclusives overnight. The platform's launch lineup was laughable (Killzone: Shadow Fall, Knack lol). The Switch only launched with possibly the greatest game of this generation, so I'm not complaining about the games. I also got the season pass for BoTW, so this game will keep me busy for a while.

After that, there's Xenoblade Chronicles 2, which I'm glad is more like the original Xenoblade Chronicles and less like the 'X' spinoff. A Metroid game is also rumored to be in development (we haven't seen anything from Retro in a long time). I'm also looking forward to the next Smash Bros. game.

As for Mario games only being for 8 year-olds, I have to disagree. I still enjoy platformers, so there's no reason why I wouldn't enjoy Mario Odyssey. Also, Mario Kart 8's getting a Switch port later this month.

For me, the best thing about the Switch is the 'on the go' experience. Honestly, a huge open world game like Zelda running on a handheld is a game changer for me. I don't have to dedicate time sitting in front of a TV screen to play Switch games. Instead, I give that time slot to PS4 games. So, it's great to have two platforms that complement each other instead of having myself struggle to play both.

well i never complained about on the go capabilities of switch.. regarding ps4 we all knew the epic IP's and the 3rd party support it will get.

somehow i like game on big screens on the go is there if i was in college but unfortunantly i have a job and i come home at 8pm after tht .. i cannt sit between people and hold a switch lol instead i wll goto my room and game on my PC/Ps4pro.

lineup of switch isnt tht good wid the pricing of the games that are being released for it.. if atleast it would tease some mature games i would love tht.

super mario 3d world is awesome platformer but its fun for 10min a day.

Just as we know about the great series' Nintendo has. To name some, Metroid, Xenoblade, Smash Bros., Splatoon, Fire Emblem. Maybe you haven't heard of them?

You might be right about the 3rd-party support argument, but it's too early to say. Being a handheld, it may well get plenty of indie support. Personally, I'm not concerned about 3rd party game. For those, I have a PS4 Pro and a PC. I got a Switch to play Nintendo's games.

Well, that's your personal preference, can't say anything about that. All I can say is that I have no problem using the Switch among people.

Again, these are your preferences. I don't judge games on the basis of 'maturity', rather the fun factor.

Also, I don't agree about Super Mario 3D world being fun for 10 mins a day, but even if that's the case, it's best suited for a handheld where you can play in short bursts.

I agree essentially, but I think there is one point here though. It would certainly be much better if Nintendo's games offered multiple difficulty levels. It seems that they probably don't do this because of perceived audience etc. .... but I feel that multiple difficulties increase both longevity and the enjoyment of a game.

Usually if I don't like a game much (but just enough) then I just finish it once. For games that I find more enjoyable, usually I would try to go for something more after just finishing the basic game. Imagine galaxy and 3D world with "hard" and "very hard" difficulties added ... would be pretty cool.

The Nintendo Switch has a big summer of games

Arms, Splatoon 2 and more get release dates

Nintendo spun through plenty of games by first- and third-party publishers during its Nintendo Direct this evening, but the message was clear: There are a lot of games coming to the Switch in the next few months.
The rapid-fire delivery included release dates for big titles that have already been demoed widely, like Arms, Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Chapter and Splatoon 2, but also titles Nintendo hasn’t said much about, like multiplayer title Project Mekuru.
Here’s the list of every title we got release dates for from that Nintendo Direct, including some with the murky “summer” release window.
Puyo Puyo Tetris: April 25 (with a demo out today)
Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition: May 11
Disgaea 5 Complete: May 23 (demo coming soon)
Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers: May 26
Arms: June 16
Splatoon 2: July 21
Fate/Estella: July 25
Sonic Mania: Summer
Sine Mora X: Summer
Project Mekuru (working title): Summer
Namco Museum: Summer

We also learned Ubisoft is bringing a version of Monopoly to the Switch in the fall, and Payday 2 will come in 2017.

Phew!!! so glad I dodged the switch... If you love yours thats great, its not a console/PC war comment... But like I said "I'M" glad "I" stayed away... more 30year old recycled nostalgia as usual.

Before I got a chance to play Zelda I was a switch skeptic too... But now that I have finished the game I must say I know why alot of people would go for it even if its only for Zelda. For someone like me who isnt that big of a Zelda fan, coming out super impressed by BOTW even with performance issues on the platform i chose to play, I certainly can understand the fixation with Switch now. I wasnt a big hand held fan but alot of my time with BOTW was spent playing on the crappy gamepad screen of the WII U and I realize now why a lot of switch users are drooling over the fact that they can play BOTW on the go.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
