Most of the appeal of NS for me came from being able to play Pokemon on a big screen. I'll keep waiting for a price drop.

More compact and cheaper version + smooth colors already loving it, gonna buy it for sure.

and what are you talking about guys from 6.2" to 5.5" ain't a big difference, its for the people who never owned Switch or wanted cheaper version and handheld only.

[h=1]Nintendo Switch Lite pre-orders are now live everywhere[/h]
The handheld-only console costs $199.99

Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch Lite are now live across the internet. Most major retailers have opened up orders for the upcoming handheld Switch console, which will be released on Sept. 20, alongside the Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakeningremake.
Nintendo’s much-rumored Switch Lite was finally announced in June, with a flashy commercial and plenty of details about the new console. Unlike the Nintendo Switch, the Switch Lite won’t have detachable Joy-Cons, though it can wirelessly connect to Switch accessories including Joy-Cons and Pro Controllers. It will also have a smaller screen than the original Switch, though the Lite does boast a longer battery life (3 to 7 hours of play) and a proper D-pad.
The biggest difference, though, is that the Switch Lite is a handheld-only console, perhaps driving the final nail in the coffin for Nintendo’s 2DS and 3DS devices. There is currently no way to connect the Switch Lite to a television, it can only be played as a handheld console.
Switch Lite consoles come in three colors: turquoise, gray and yellow. A special pink and blueZacian and Zamazenta Edition Switch Lite console, tied to the release of Pokémon Sword andShield, hits shelves on Nov. 8. The game launches a week later, on Nov. 15.
Currently Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and GameStop have opened pre-orders for the new handheld console. As of this writing, Walmart hasn’t posted a listing; we’ll update this post as more pre-orders go up.

I got the turquoise one and I've been loving it so far! I already ordered mario maker 2 for it. However I do suggest buying a pro controller after some time because the left analog stick might get joy con drift. I haven't experienced joycon drift but I will still buy a pro controller next week or so.
