Need to crack some wifi security passes!!!!!

Ok guys heres the deal currently I have a Wateen Wimax connection whose wifi device is placed on the ground floor, so that wifi only works on the ground floor. Currently I am sitting on the first floor and I was amazed when I checked my wifi connections list and I am getting over 10! YES over 10 different wifi connections available for me to connect. Even now I am sitting on the first floor and using some wifi connection named Zyxel or something Cool huh .. but I am only getting a few signals whereas there are some wifi connections available with full signals but they are password protected. So is there any way I could crack those passwords and possibly use their wifi ?
