Maybe, but even with better screens it still doesn't LOOK as good as the Mafia screens as i said.

If you are a 13 old teen then yes GTA is better, but us big people like more mature games.

GTA is just more fun, and the sloth slow pace of mafia really killed that game for me honestly. Even though i have a copy of mafia, its story is great, i never got to finish it because it bored the hell out of me mid way through (i stopped playing at this mission where i have to find an old partner who turned traitor at an airport, then i find he's just doing it for his family and i help him escape, after that i stopped playing completely) I dont get how people are able to stand such a SLOWWWWWWW paced game at all.

GTA on the other hand is blazing fast.

AND it has samuel jackson !! ..

AND james woods !!

Try the real version then i.e the PC version. No point in playing the console versions they are terrible.

One of the main reasons why Mafia attracted so many fans and awards, was its originality and authentic recreation of time, and of course the game physics, extremely complicated and detailed car physics (tell me one more game that has a working clutch and a working temp and fuel guage!?), graphics, soundtrack, and how the story and gameplay emotionally attached the player to the game. When it was released, it was one of the first games to use EAX surround, motion capture etc and its graphics were really ahead of that time.
