Need Help with Steam purchase

Hello guys,
I have moved to Pakistan, I bought a 20$ Steam wallet code outside of Pakistan, Now the problem is that I cannot buy games in Pakistan through Steam wallet.

This is the error I have to deal with.

"The current payment method does not match the country of the store. The cart has been converted and the updated total will show on the next page. You may also review your cart here, or change your payment method below"

I contacted Steam Support ..instead of helping me they simply replied me with this message

"Thank you for contacting Steam Support. We apologize for the delay. Unfortunately, using the Steam client or website to make purchases from your region is not currently supported. We will be unable to assist you in completing a purchase. If retailers in your area sell Steam-compatible CD Keys, you may be able to register a game to your account that way."


But we sure can buy games on Steam from Pakistan, Can't we?

Any help is appreciated

Well then, Why would Steam lie to me, The problem is something else then..their support guy only said this to get rid of me

Did you try changing your country to USA and also from where did you buy the code?

Steam purchases are very sensitive about ur current address, try updating ur current address to Pakistan, (it asked me too about address saying it is needed for taxation etc) maybe it ll help

Sorry for the late reply, I bought the code from KSA,I don't remember changing the country as it doesn't matter anymore because I no longer want to use the wallet here for now. Using a VPN is against the Steam SSA, They will disable my account if I use VPN.

Some guy ("sweetstyle" I think) here told me that he sent his id card to Steam to activate purchasing, So I asked Steam about the restriction on my account,

Their Response

"We can change the currency for your future purchases. However, for financial and tax reasons, we must confirm that you are currently living in the country you are contacting us from before we can switch the currency.

Please scan a copy of your driver's license, ID card, passport or an official document that proves current residency and attach it to this ticket. As soon as we have that information we will be able to convert your account's default currency.

Thank you for your understanding and patience with this issue.

Please follow these instructions to upload images to your support ticket:

1) Log in to your support account
2) Navigate to the 'Ask a Question' tab (where you would normally write your support tickets)
3) To attach a photo to your ticket, navigate to 'You May Upload an Attachment' (underneath the text entry field)
4) Click 'Add Attachment' to reveal the uploading interface
5) Click on the 'Browse' button to locate the file on your computer
6) Once you have located the file, select it in the browser window and click 'Open'

Where did you make your original purchases from?You need to use that country's steam store.

After the store.steampowered.com URL add /?cc=pk replace "pk" with the country where you orignally have a credit card or purchases attached.

My steam was attached with Pakistan store but when i went outside pakistan i couldn't purchase games using wallet but using the Pakistan store i was able to. SO try that, maybe it'll work.

Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
