Need Help With Power supply or pin connector?

i Recently sold my R9 380 2gb Strix version cuz of 2gb vram and i only play gta 5..
i bought r9 280x 3gb ASUS Factory overclocked
but ir requires 8+8 pin connector
i've 6+8 and my psu is 625+80 bronze
should i buy a connector or a new psu ?

Its better to buy a better PSU.
as far as i feel right now is that the current psu u have is of a lower quality.

You can also use the connectors (the ones that takes power from 2 4pins and gives out a single 8 pin one)
I remember, when i bought my first 8800gt. it required a 6 pin connector and a connector came with it in the box. so they seem to work fine

It all depends on the PSU model you are using. If its a reliable one then a simple connector would do but if not then a change PSU is recommended. Better spend some extra money and change to a better PSU such as Corsair rather regret the decision later. Its summers and temps are reaching 40 degrees plus atleast in Lahore. So the PSU will generally get really hot under load and if its not good enough then it blow your PC up. Been there.
