Need help urgent !!!!!!!!!!

hi guys i need help .. i bought a whole new pc ...from pg..everything works great ..but i do got a problem and thats that when i try to play game i see these horizontal lines going through my screen .not vsync one .. some other ... and some kind of weird sounds starts to come from pc ..not loud just a little grind like ...i m using a vga to dvi converter though ... and could it be my psu ..and when i start my pc ..my gpu starts like 2 to 3 seconds later..pls tell me what it is

my specs..
i5 2400
asrock h61 usm3 mobo
r9 270x gpu
silencer 600w psu ..
8gb ram ...

may be or may be not this sound comes from ur psu .... it is hard to tell u without lessening the sound so concentrate the sound then u have to know where it come from .... may b its gpu sound .... change ur converter or cable then see that ur lining issue sort out or not

Most probably its the psu
check it on another setup

thanks for your replies guys ..the problem sorted by buying the new dvi cable ... but i got another problem .. sometime pc wont boot up .. i mean all the fans running but the mouse and the keyboard light wont light up and i have to reset one more time to make it work what up with that ??

it may be the gpu or ram problem
Try it on igpu if it still exist it might be the ram problem

if its gpu problem then the pc should boot atleast ,,, i mean the keyboard and mouse lights should come up .. it looks like ram to me..it happens rarely not often ...gpu temps and everything is fine ...dunno whats causing ..could be ram though ...

RAM reseat karo. PSU cables in motherboard sometimes become slightly loose and it won't give display but all fans/LEDs light up. So remove and reinsert PSU cables in mobo.

i will try above mentioned methods and repost ... so the gpu is fine i guess ?? .. i mean max temps are 55c ..which are amazing .. and games run all fine ...

guys i see that power problem only comes when the light goes and come back ..and when i unplug the pc cable and plug it back in ... regardless of previous proper shutdown...is it problem with mobos battery or something . [MENTION=12579]Shary Bhallu TC[/MENTION]...
