Salam Brothers

Ok guys so the problem is that i bought a club3d HD7750 1 GB GDDR5 in 12000 from Autechnologies in May 2014 with 2 years warranty (the thing i fell for at the first place). In the mid of August the card started having issues of black grey screen and driver issues. It went for an RMA and was returned to me after 1.5 months being told that the card has been replaced. I took it without checking and when i checked it had the same issues so it went back again.
Now i contacted the related salesman here in Lahore and he's saying to me that we are willing to refund 60 to 65% of ur cash, the card is irrepairable and irreplacable. which would be 7200 to 7800. Is this refund ok or r they ripping me now as i still have almost 1.5 years warranty left.

ripping you totally, though I doubt you will get your full money back or you card replaced.
Yeah brother this is exactly what i thought. the least i can do is to make other people aware of these thugs of Autechnologies, guess what they have the best warranties around only to lure customers in and then they do this. cant love technology in this country. Is there anything i can do

This is what happened with me when Shingpoint guys were not in a mood to give me Full payment or a new card (GTX 750Ti) they keep saying that the card is now out of stock etc etc. Will depreciate the amount and give you 70%. But After 1 month of my ZID they give me a better card with 2k cash diff (Asus R9 270x). So, Try to replace it with something better by adding little cash.

I remember that i bought a 5770 about 4 years ago from a reputable distributor.
The GPU encountered no display issue at about month 9-10.
I gave it under warranty, they also replied to me that the GPU was out of stock. Later on i had to pay just 4-5K and i got a brand new 5850 as a replacement.
however i would say that they did not refund the entire amount but they calculated the market value of the gpu and then replaced.
but then i would say the market value of the 5850 falled too which enabled the replacement of 5770 with only 4K.

As a general perspective. I would say that a 7750 would not be worth more than 7.2K now so if u are getting 7.8K then it's not a loss.
However you should ask for more.

do contact me via PM if u want il see what i can do.

here is what they actually do, i know this stuff for a fact; AU tech does not import GPUs by itself, they buy them from the local market (even PG) on demand, they would sell u a 'certain' GPU for 28000 without warranty and the same GPU with warranty for 32,000, although both of them are not covered by back end warranty as they are bought from an unofficial source (although they might be covered by international warranty but that's too much of a hassle for AU tech to cover). They take a leap of faith and count on the GPU not to screw up, and if it does they attempt to get it repaired from a 'certain' repair shop and if that doesn't work this is what they do...

btw market value for a used 7750 is not more than 7500. If they are giving you more than that, then grab it before they realize their error :D
