Need help on upgrading my PC!!!!!!!

Hey guys I need help on upgrading my PC to play games like:

• Gears of war

• Assassins creed

• Resident evil 4 & 5

My system is:

Intel[R]
Pentium 4 CPU 2.00 GHz
RAM: 512mb no 3D card

My budget is : upto 10,000

try to increase your budget, so that you get a dual core like E2xxx or E5200 with a normal motherboard, which may costs you 9~10k in used
then for a VGA, you need 5~6k to get a used 9600 GT / GSO or similar
you can upgrade in steps

increase your budget or if you are stick with your budget then get 1gb ram in 2k and 4670 or 9600gt card for play games at low to medium resolution but for gaming a dual core processor is recommended

sell ur pc and get a dual core pc with a decent graphic card for gaming, it will cost u around 20k if u go for used one.

Thnx all but the problem is I'm stick to my budget so I can only afford 9600 Gt , other then that tell me what else should I do.

Check to see if your motherboard has an AGP or PCI-Express slot before doing anything.

I am damn sure he has AGP cuz P4 2ghz only came on AGP based motherboards mostly, chances of PCX are low as 478 socket mobos were agp based. Check it first bro........

My advise would be to save that 10k and plan for something NEW and more future proof.
Your current system is old now. No point in 'upgrading' that one. Sale it and get a new one. Simple.

What?

Obviously! The dual core cpu's are only compaitable with LGA 775 socket so you need to get a LGA 775 motherboard and also DDR2 rams .

You can get used E5200-E5300 for 4-5K and Asus P5KPL-AM for 4500rs. And DDR2 value rams for 4K..

its not upgradeable you need to make a custom pc

The LEAST you require is a dual core e5200, 9800gt ,1GB DDR2 and for this you need a new mobo as well.....increase the budget.

PC gaming is not expensive but its not that economical either
