Software monitoring sucks. Use a digital multimeter for better accuracy. The bios generally gives a better estimation than windows based software.

Use a digital multimeter or voltmeter and check the readings manually. Software and bios readings arent 100% accurate all the time

what other said
for accurated reading check ratings with digital voltmeter moreover according to my info and experience hardware monitor usually show accurate result but 2 of software show other readings so it is better for you to check rating with multimeter and reply

I guess its safe to say that the 'Hardware Monitor' is screwing up. Im amazed no one has pointed that out yet.

Your PC cannot stay on at 8.98v ... simple as that. It would be off at somewhere around 10 IMO. I had a PSU which had a failing 12v rail ... in BIOS it was okay at 11.2v ... after 10 mins IN bios ... it dropped in the 10s ... seconds later the PC would turn off. No way in hell can you 8.98v and think its right.

Just go to the BIOS see what it says. If it shows something at 12v or close to it (like say ... around 11.5v) ... your good.

Unless your planning some volt mods or serious overclock where ud want a very very stable 12v+ ... no use getting out a multimeter or something. Check BIOS and your good to go!

I've used 4 motherboards, 3 processors and 2 psus. Not once has a software got all the readings correctly.

The values on bios are the most correct ones.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
