AoA everyone,

I have a Huawei P9 Lite Having Andoird 6.0 and EMUI. The thing is I have installed a couple of games and the Phone has started to run out of its 16Gb Internal Memory. So, I bought a 16 Gb Class 10 Micro SD Card and inserted in my phone. I wish to move Big apps like games to SD Card so that Internal Memory is free for other apps.

1. In Storage settings, I selected SD Card and chose "Erase and Format".

2. I change default Storage from Internal to SD Card

3. I downloaded a game to see where it installs. Alas, it installed all of it in Internal Memory.

4. I tried to change location of app like in previous Android versions, but there was no option for it.

5. The only thing that is now being stored in SD Card are Photos and Videos. However I did not find any way to Move individual apps to SD Card.

6. I searched a lot on google and youtube but there is no option to move Apps in my Phone.

7. "Apps to SD" and "Link to SD" were of no use as they took me to the same screen where I tried to change location as explained in Step 4

If anyone has faced similar issue, please inform as to how you were able to work around it. Other suggestions are also welcome.

P.S. I do not wish to root my phone for this.

It's not worth the effort, and without some tinkering, it's not possible.

Because most people are misinformed about SDCards and the types you can get, some opt for cheaper SD cards with slower read/write speeds, so if an app is running off the SDcard which sucks, the app itself will suck, especially if it's a game.

Most apps create a folder inside /Android/data/ and so moving all of that to SDCard isn't possible anymore.

TL;DR: YOU CAN NOT move apps to SD Card anymore. Only media files such as photos, videos, music etc.

Android Transfer can help you easy transfer app between different phone device . As long as you connect your two phones to the computer before the Transfer Data app has been inatalled on the computer ,you can select everything to transfer from android to computer /iPhone. what is more , you are still able to manage the android data on the computer when the android data has succeed backup on the computer ,
I just use Android Transfer to transfer messages to computer ,also contacts photos, videos, files, app,

Alan wake 2 is yet to recover it's development costs. Due to no physical release and no steam launch.
You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
